Love this pic, because it reminds me of the days when people would toss a pair of shoes over a powerline basically symbolizing that was their block.

awww when'd they start making baby verses ?I so miss owning a pair of converse , but hey .. I have a brilliant pairof steel capped boots that are pull ons , and are so old now that thecap is starting to wear through the leather , very ratty looking but they're so damn comfyand I just can't seem to part with them. ( yep , I am tired .. I'm rambling about shoes / boots lol!! )I agree with your thoughts on the image , it does remind me of childhood during the summer ..that whispy / dreamy haze , like a fading memory that will forever remain.

you're welcome I never noticed them when I lived in US ..we have converse down here , but haven't took any notice to if they have them forsmall children , babies / toddlers etc ..I know they've got them for a 9 yr old andolder ..my son likes his work boots though , hewears them everywhereI do lol. I've had this pair since I came here.they're just over 6yrs old , really warn to the point that the rubber sole is starting toflap at the heels on both boots , but the bottomof the boots have a steel plating so if you'reto step on a nail , or screw or any other footpuncturing material it won't go through to the foot( I am a putz so lol I find that handy )this is a brilliant brand that'll give you an ideaof what mine look like [link] the brand here is clear- redback , mine are corkran nail proofbut are hard to find an image of that look like mine.the bloke that made my brand is 36 and made them nail proofbecause of a work injury of his that nearly cost him his legyep yep that's the feeling I got ( and you did say I have a way with words hehe )
