Jack suddenly wished he hadn't turned his hand phaser over. He turned to address Briana, "This is why I don't talk to people. Something like this always happens, and I end up in sickbay and can't fly the ship for days!"

Jack put his phaser back on his belt, but still looked unconvinced. "Worrying is what I do when I'm not flying or climbing, Briana," he told her. It hadn't even occured to him that he called her by her first name. Not even her sudden purrs made him realize.
He suddenly frowned, and turned a confused look towards the cat-eared woman beside him. "What's ice cream?"

Briana sighs, "Jack what am I going to do to convince you?? And what do you mean what's ice cream? Oh my goodness we're going to have to educate you. Oh and thanks for finally calling me, Briana." smiles and low purrs.
