i think that the scanner lines really works with this piece. it ads a super-thin layer of cubist revival to the whole piece.

Good piece - it also reminds me of Dali's drawing style. I am thinking of something titled Spain.....

Thank you otto...yes it does resemble that piece...but actually this was a study derived from an altarpiece sculpture by a prominent filipino surrealist Gave barredo...

yup...especially his towers that i most admire...we have a contemporary of his here...see , a good friend of mine and the closest thing we have for a living Beksinski!!!

i think your use of 'contemporary' might be a little off... one was born in 1929, the other in 1971. though Bekinski died in 2005, i think they might be better considered contemporaries in a history textbook... wow... sorry for butting in... -.-
