I had a tough time painting this and I'm not sure how I feel about the finished painting but I enjoyed the experience. I learned a lot from painting this, putting in more figures and working on a larger watercolor than what I'm used to. If anyone is interested I wrote about this in my blog [link]Related content

Wow. The detail is incredible. You have a lot of talent. I think the composition is a bit busy, but it's a really beautiful piece.

This is a lovely composition! The girl on the left seems to be an important figure and my eye was drawn there initially, but I can see how the lines made by the men, the glances of the people looking over at the violinist and the stripes on their shirts reinforce the central figure. He looks very sure of himself 
I think the thing I love most about this is the mystery and intrigue you have created within the violinist. Also I love suburban, contemporary art very much.

Don't know why you are not sure about this, but I can say it is a great painting, I think it is really hard to manage such a complex composition. The shading, the dresses, the movement are perfect.
I am always scared about putting more than one carachter in a single picture.
