Description
Commission for Kaa from the Disney movie "The Jungle Book", they pictured him in the movie as such a stupid snake... never liked that.
Anyway I had a great time doing this, he's very fun to draw ^^

I just recently watched the live action Jungle Book remake. Did they change Kaaβs gender in that version? He...or she...had a feminine voice in that version.

They are constrictors. Also snakes aren't evil ,some like the rattlesnake go out of their way to warn you of their presence, chiefly because they don't want to be stepped on! You stay out of their way, they won't attack you!

He looks fantastic, i prefer him to be a good guy like in the original novel.
And well done for actually making a decent picture of Kaa as well, this has to be one of a handful of picture of Kaa that isn't just the same hypnosis and vore picture that make up at last 98% of Kaa artwork on here

I've seen some of the live action movies which are not very good either :/
but I've also read the book and the Kaa there is much more menacing than in any other movie/cartoon I've seen

I feel your pain. Kaa was one of Mowgli's best friends, and the most Kickass of his friends. A 100 foot long, 100 year old python is what Kaa was in the original book, and all other film adaptations. Damn Disney, making snakes look and act evil!

There where a lot of problems with the adaptation of this film, the book is really dark and epic, while the movie is meh... and kaa is reduced to a dumb sidekick

Greetings. Just your average bystander here. I've been looking over deviantart and noticed a lot crossovers with Kaa and many different characters (mostly anime i noticed) but out of the whole internet I haven't come across not one crossover with a particular TV show. So I'm asking around many *looks at notes* "Kaa...fans" to see if they would like me, in celebration of the year of the snake and the 50th anniversary of a certain TV show, to write a fanfiction crossover story with Walt Disney's Jungle Book (Mowgli and Kaa in particular) and DOCTOR WHO.
