Seriously The Spectacular Spider-Man has become one of my fav Spidey cartoon, More than the 90's version.Recently they shown the appearence of Venom and he kick ass, He will do more next saturday on the final episode of the season.
Anyway i now drew MJ and she's wayyyyy better than the 90's version, :sigh: Kirsten Dunst or other Mary Jane version of her, This new MJ is how she suppose to be like in the comics, I had doubts on Vanessa Marshall for providing the voice but wow, She really pulled it off nicely.
I was going for the vampie mistress costume she wore on the Halloween episode yet i thought this outfit goes well on MJ lol.

I like this pinup the best so far because the face looks just like the real deal, but the body is curvy and luscious. It looks like it would be a blast to colour!

this is quite nice. very close to tha style tho it kinda looks like on her hand up by her mouth that she has one too many fingers..
but other than that an ace peice.

I'm not really into the new Spidey so much (I mean, look at the new batman, it's freakin terrible imo) but if the new MJ looks this hot, I might have to watch more! Nice work!

You should really try to watch it, The animation looks too kiddy like but the stories are awesome, Especially when it comes with the fights.

I had a problem with the animation mostly. The character's have very minimal detail and the colors are so flat that it put me off initially. But I may give it a second chance. ^_^

You should try giving it a second chance because this Spidey cartoon is what it should've been all this time.
You will just love the action, The way the characters fight is amazing.

Yes I prefer this MJ to any other MJ we've seen so far (even though I'm more of a Black Cat fan). This is how she's suppose to be, fun and sort of happy go lucky, not an annoying ditz who sounds like a 12-year-old (the 90's animated Mary-Jane had a horrible design and voice), and not someone who always bitches about her problems (Kirsten Dunst)

To be honest the design of the 90's version was not bad yet the outfit didn't fit as MJ and also the voice.
Kirsten Dunst seriously didn't played as a MJ, She played as the tipical nice and popular girl and didn't had any agressive and party on attitued like in the comics.
Sam Raimi may have done well casting people like Tobey and J.K. Simmons but with Kirsten Dunst..................she could've played the role of Gwen instead.
Seriously the way she acted is how Gwen is and not MJ.

You're right about the 90's version but as one guy on the marvel animation sight pointed out that besides the horrible out fit she had a weird face design. Also you made a good point on Dunst, she would've made a better Gwen than MJ. Though to be honest I couldn't take Tobey seriously as Spider-man, as Peter Parker sure but not Spider-man. Also who else can agree that J.K. Simmons was a scene stealer (I'm still pissed off about movie Venom though).
Anyways keep up the good work man.
