The Mask was one of my favorite comics growing up, so I thought I'd do a sketchcard of him. I sketched and inked the card a while back and then, unfortunately, promptly forgot about it. I found it yesterday under some scratch paper. Scratch paper I used to try out markers. Which bled through onto the sketch card.
It wasn't much but was enough that I had to forget about using color on it and went with grayscale. The eye is the only thing I colored on the card itself, the rest of the blood was added onto the card with PS after I got rid of all the rest of the color bleed. Don't be surprised if you see a very similar card in color sometime in the future...

Thanks! I always preferred the darker more brutal version of the character that appeared in the earlier series. Then the movie came out and the toned him down to make him more mass appealing.
