Throughout the history of Remnant there have been many legends, some born from real events, others just hoaxes, lost to time. But there's been one that has persisted since the brother gods disappeared, the Silver Eyed warriors. A group of skilled Huntsmen and Huntresses so powerful, that a single look from them could turn any Grimm in sights to dust. Such a force of nature against the Grimm should be renowned, or at least a legend that everyone's heard of, so why is it that Silver Eyes are so rare? Unless something, or someone, was hunting them.

Ever since Nova Prime and Galvatron came to Remnant, and allied themselves with Salem, the appearance of Silver Eyed warriors began to decline rapidly. At first Salem agreed with Nova, in that they should all be snuffed out and terminated, a task that Nova Prime requested to do personally. At this point, only he and Galvatron were the only Cybertronians on Remnant, and while normally Galvatron would be sent to deal with these kinds of tasks, Nova was always the one to take them. Whenever a rumor of a person with silver eyes sprung up, Nova Prime always ventured out to eliminated them. There have been some occasions where his quarry initially escaped, but it would only be a matter of time before he found them again. As time went on, despite his relentless efforts to crush these warriors, they'd somehow still keep popping up.

At one point Salem had considered utilizing people with silver eyes to hunt others with the same mutation. Nova hated this idea, and insisted that everything continued as is, but Salem ordered him to stand down until he's needed. The first attempt at capture was Maria Calavera, but this resulted in failure as Salem's hired mercenaries failed to deliver, making her send Nova Prime after another target (the faunus that became the hound in the show) but Nova "failed" to bring him in alive.

It wasn't until his latest victim came to him, Summer Rose, a skilled fighter in her own right, but she still wasn't enough to defeat Nova Prime. It wouldn't be until the end of volume 9 that he would see the spawn of his previous victim as well as his last, Ruby Rose.
