Description
Jace dove in after Cress. He landed on his face and laid there for a second. He pushed himself up to look around. He could't see Cress but he did see something. Strangled, mutilated, bloody bodies were strewn around. Blood made the ground wet. He stood quickly shaking off any blood and organs he had landed on. "Cress?" he shouted. He looked around and found her peering over a ledge. Below was huge lava lake. He grabbed her away from the edge "Watch out!". Cress pushed him off and said "I was just looking...Why do you care?". Jace folded his arms "Never mind. Let's get back to the portal-" he froze as he turned around. In front of him was a huge fortress of Netherbrick.
Cress ran towards it "Let's go!". Jace bounded after her "Wait!" They had made to it's entrance and dodged behind a wall to avoid a Blaze. Jace sighed when it left "We need to leave" he stopped mid sentence to look at Cress. She was gone. He gritted his teeth and whispered around for her. He found her sitting on wall, watching the Ghast fly around. He stood there staring at her as shadows danced on her smooth features. He shook his head "Cress.". Cress jumped and faced him "Can we stay a little longer? Please?" She begged. Jace sat up next to her "I guess." he scooted a little closer to her. Cress smirked "Aren't we being friendly?" she chuckled. Jace looked away to hide a blush. "Shut up... We should leave soon. I feel weird here...".
Cress smirked again "Alright. It was fun though." She jumped down and swung her butter sword in a circle then pointed it at the exit. Jace took lead.
Up on a ledge, unreachable, it sat. Waiting. It's eye's glowed with anticipation. He moved forward a bit, watching the two. A few peices of ruble fell. He retreated back into the shadows.
Jace whipped his over to a high ledge. A few pieces of rubble fell into the lava below. Something moved back. Jace picked up the pace. "Hurry up. It's freaky here..." He stepped over what seemed to be a body but was too bloody and ripped apart. Cress shrugged "It's probably just a Zambie pigman...". She skipped over ripped off limbs and bloodied bodies and piles of seemed like mud and organs. Jace bent over, ready to puke. Cress stuck her tongue out at him "Big baby...". She continued skipping till she looked behind her and Jace was gone. "Jace?". She stopped skipping and walked back to where he had been.
"This isn't funny Jace...". Cress whipped around she heard something chuckle. A man with glowing white eyes and horribly torn bloodied clothing stood before her. His eyes were almost hypnotizing so she looked away and stumbled. She landed on some dead body. She wiped any dirt and blood her face. She looked up and saw the creature again. This time it's arm was wrapped around Jace's neck and with it's other hand it pointed a sword at him. It said in a deep smooth voice "Don't move.".
Cress growled and whipped her tiger tail in anger. She hissed, baring her fangs "I don't know who you are but.put.him.down.". The creature chuckled and tightened it's choke hold on Jace even tighter, Jace in return gasped and grabbed at the creature's arm. Cress squinted her eyes at him, a growl in her throat. The creature widened it's bright white eyes, Cress felt dizzy and shook her head returning to normal. She pulled out her sword and pointed it at the creature "Put him down now!".
The creature frowned and dropped it's sword. It raised it's hand. The lava lake bubbled and a tsunami of lava rose and dove at them. Cress's eyes widened and she started to run but couldn't move. She whimpered and dropped her own sword. Jace manage to shout "Stop! D-don't hurt her!". The creature stopped the giant wave and sat there in the air, it's heat beating down on them. Jace said while fighting for air "W-what... do you want... from us...and what are you?!".
The creature dropped Jace who laid on the ground coughing. Cress ran to his side, lifting him to his feet and supporting him. The creature sneered at the two. "A who. Not what. I am... Herobrine. Ruler of this realm.". Jace whispered to himself "you're realm sucks..." Herobrine picked up his sword and with a flick of a wrist it was through Jace's abdomen. Jace gasped and ripped the sword out. He collapsed to his knees, coughing up blood. Cress held him then stood. "I don't care who you are! No one hurts him but me!!" she hissed. She picked her sword and which met Herobrine's in a second. They lashed out at each other. Herobrine smirked "I won't go easy." He whipped his sword, parrying her's and sending into the lava. He lodged his sword into her arm. She held her arm and fell to her knees, unable to utter a sound in her pain.
Herobrine walked up pointed his sword at her throat "Join my Kingdom of death!" He chuckled. Jace sat up, wincing in pain "I asked you a question. What do you want from us?!" He yelled. Herobrine sheathed his black sword made of wither bones and handle embroidered with an Ender eye. "You wish to rule all the lands and world. You have potential to do so. I won't have my kingdom ruled by...newbs like you." He sneered. "But it would be fun to play with you first...".
Cress looked to Jace with a 'Oh crap wats he gonna do' face. Jace scooted over to her the both stood. Cress let Jace lean on her and she held her arm. Herobrine snapped his fingers and chains shot from underneath them. They wrapped tightly around their wrist and pulled them to the ground. The chains were spiked and dug into their flesh. Cress let out a short cry before a cloth was tied firmly over her mouth as well as Jace's. The ground below them looked as if faces of victims cried and shared their pain. The ground started melting, and burning like boiling wax around them and they were pulled into the ground, only their heads above. Cress struggled but she sank even faster, as did Jace. Terror and fear gripped at her body as the ground covered up their muffled cries and struggles. Then everything was quiet.
Was she sitting? Against a cold wall? She moved a bit. She was on the ground and feeling of burning thick wax and earth was gone. It was cold and pitch black. Something stirred near her. She went to look but he head was somehow being held by something to keep her forward. She took a second to try and realize what was holding her. She could feel she was chained down, her legs were and her wrist were held to the wall as well. But what was holding her head? She closed her eyes. They felt bony and cold and stiff. She looked out the corner of her eye. Something grayish white with long withe fingers was hold her. She panicked. Stiff skeleton hands, coming from the wall held her in place.
She tried to breathe slowly. She squinted at what was in front of her. It looked like a body, being held with it's wrist above it, the rest sitting. She tried to muffle out a word, to make herself known the shadowed figure. It's head shot up. It spoke in a familiar voice "Cress?". Cress tried to muffle a reply. Nothing but of course a muffle came out. It spoke again "It's me Jace. Are you alright?". Cress nodded, well as best she could. Jace relaxed a bit. After a moment of silence, a door with soft light, blinding to the two captives who had been in the dark so long, opened and a figure walked in, shutting the door behind him. It's white eyes where recognizable. It was Herobrine. He lit a redstone torch on a wall, to keep the room dim and creepy. There was more silence.
Drip
An un-welcoming beat of water hitting the ground broke the silence. Cress moved a bit, getting Herobrine's attention. Herobrine chuckled, his creepy laughter echoing in the cold rotting chamber. He stepped towards her, getting on one knee he held her chin. She could feel his icy raw breathe on her face. He sneered, revealing pointed teeth "I'll send fear down your spine. Make your eyes widen in shock. Death will be your only escape from my Hell.". Cress gulped and tried to retreat deeper into the clutch of the skeletal hands, which now seemed inviting.
Herobine stood and headed to Jace. He kicked him the stomach, Jace gave no reaction but a low grunt. Displeased, Herobrine lifted him by his hair after undoing his shackles and restaints. He dropped kicked him to the ground and smirked as Jace coughed and stared at Herobrine defiantly with bright green eyes. Herobrine took a small carving knife from his pocket "Those defiant eyes of your's are pissing me off..." He kicked Jace's head so that he fell to the ground. Herobrine kneeled and swept Jace's bangs away from his face. Herobrine lifted the carving knife into Jace's eyes. Jace screamed and then muffled his cries as Heribrine carved out his sensitive eyes, leaving nothing but empty sockets. After a long moment of cries and psychotic laughter, all was silent.
Cress struggled. Herobrine walked over and released her "Don't try anything funny. I'll be back". His last statement made her shiver. Once he had left she rushed over to Jace who was doubled over in a puddle of blood. she lifted him up. she was afraid to move his bangs, afraid to see the hideous deed Herobrine had done to Jace. Jace laid limp against her and she held him tight. She went to move his bangs away but Jace caught her wrist. "P-please don't look...".
Cress nodded and held him tight. The two sat in the dark, rotting, wet cell. Bloody and exhausted. Cress murmured "I am so sorry... This is all my fault...". Jace slumped against her "Isn't it always?" he managed to chuckle. Cress gave a half hearted smile but frowned again as she realized their fate.
They were in the Nether. With Herobrine as their captor. Jace blind and bloodied. And Cress without a clue.
