I think in my mind it will be officially The Best Thing Ever regardless, as long as it isn't total dicksplash! Like so many people, I feel like this is the sequel I've been waiting for most of my adult life. Literally. But I am being cautious not to get carried away in advance, I've just got a good vibe for this one.

Hahaha, likewise mate! I have so much bottled up excitement I may actually explode before I make it to the showing! Star Wars has a funny way of making me feel like a kid again and that first proper, Millennium Falcon, Chewie, theatrical trailer really brought the feels hard. Glad to hear you share the love! It just confirms your standing as a man of fine tastes in my eyes old chap *puffs nonchalantly on posh old man pipe and twiddles moustache*

Yeah, it does seem to have been a bit mismarketed, especially early on. I'm not 100% sure it's a great idea to merge the Dark Knight elements with the Justice League either (and the primary cause of confusion imo). Still, I will see it and probably enjoy it. I'm the only guy on the web who liked Man of Steel it seems; personally I enjoyed the 'dangerous alien god' approach, rather than the boy scout of the past, and I think it transitions well into BvS. I mean, the idea of these super powerful diety figures brawling it out in downtown Metropolis WITHOUT massive damage and death toll is kinda absurd and unrealistic to me. To be honest I feel a lot of the hate it gets is really about people's dislike of Snyder and his style over substance approach. I actually thought it was a really emotional and thought provoking superhero film, and I'd like to think I'm not a dummy! 
Anyway, seems like I ranted a bit there...
