Really well done! Great foreshortening on the pose, and shading as well. I like everything but the book in the foreground, which seems unfinished compared to the rest.

wonderful attention to anatomical details and musculature. however the solid outline i find distracting and I think it doesn't do your rendering justice- it flattens a drawing that is otherwise very much alive.

Oh, by the way, I was totally kidding. I didn't realize how rude that might have come off. I would love a trade though if you like any of my art. Beautiful work.

Your shading is rather incredible, but aside from that, I really am amazed at the way you use light in your pieces. The highlighted points are so well illuminated compared to the shadowed parts that it gives your drawings a very unique flare.

greysmith In reply to binkgrass [2005-05-05 23:39:18 +0000 UTC]

Thank you and thanks again. Most of the time I spend drawing is spent on shading and texturing and it feels great to hear from someone who appreciates it.

how long did you take to draw it?

greysmith In reply to placebodrawings [2005-02-16 17:58:42 +0000 UTC]

thanks It must have taken me a couple of days I think, I'm not entirely sure. I tend to work on something then leave it alone for awhile and come back to it later so I couldn't exactly tell you but this one came out fairly quickly if i remember correctly.
