Description
My Sole Survivor, Remy, was a ballroom instructor before the bombs fell. I wanted to draw her dancing, and Nick seemed like the companion most likely to know how.Except Codsworth, I suppose, but that razor arm isn't too promising.

part of the reason i love nick and think he makes a perfect match for the sole survivor is his pre-war memories. he's the most likely to genuinely understand and sympathize with someone so abruptly thrown into the future.

Holy crap, this is awesome!
I'm writing a fanfic that this reminds me of! One day, Nick asks my Sole Survivor what she misses most about her time period. She says swing dancing, remarking that she was really good at it. Unfortunately, Nick has no idea how to dance. So, to cheer her up, he ventures into a vault and finds some old swing tracks and dance instructions on a bunch of holotapes, and downloads them into his memory core. He returns to her as a full-fledged swing master, and dances with her to her heart's content. He even covers his metal hand with a special glove so he doesn't hurt her when spinning and lifting her. I thought it was a cute concept. ^_^
Anyway, that is an amazing drawing of Nick. He's not easy. Very well done!

She won't dance with a saw-wielding, rocket-powered robot, but letting it change, feed and cradle her baby is just fine? Silly Remy.
In all seriousness though, this is super sweet. Your style captures the whole 50's vibe really well.
