(Preface: Originally, for my Amalgamverse I had kept with the canon of Amalgam Comics with combining the Sentinels with the Scissormen, the result being the Razormen. The sharp fingertips and claws are a nod to that)
A creation of the anti-MetaMutant scientist-turned-politician Hugo Trask 'the Strange'. It started out as one individual named 'Buddy' Mold [Buddy Blank + Master Mold] augmented with cybernetics. 'Buddy' was then remote control of a handful of robot proxies (with plans for a whole army).
In one potential timeline, HYVEDRA [HYDRA + HIVE Labs] took the OMASC design and refined it through bio- and nano-technology. Thanks to the DNA of 'Rocky' Davis aka the Four-Armed Thing, they possess an extra two arms. DNA from a select few MetaMutants have given them the ability to copy the powers of anyone in proximity and even steal them through touch, along with the victim's life force. This made them phenominally durable and adaptive to the point where no Earthly force could stop them.
