I and took a photo-session of his newest costume for upcoming Desucon, Naked Snake/Big Boss.A little bit of phot-filter magic in Photoshop to create the mood from the game.

also, I donΒ΄t think MGS3 happened in a big city.
So a forest of some sort was a bit better as a BG. but that is my opinion ofc.

I saw a playthrough of MGS3 or whatever it was. I didn't really like Raiden. Thought he was a crybaby. Need Snake!

in Mgs2 which Raiden is starred in, you starts the game as Snake and conversate with him during the story.
But yeah... Dr. Emmeric was awesome instead in that game.
If Raiden fails and Snake ainΒ΄t there... Otacon takes theirs place ;D
but of course he is a bit emotional after his very tragic story... I donΒ΄t think I would have survived his pain, mentally :/ Loved how his story ended in MGS4.
He had a better design there as well.
You are not the only one not liking him, so itΒ΄s alright

I didn't see the entire playthrough, so I don't know about much of what happens. I know something of how Otacon had a messed up life, but nothing really.
By the way, I've never played a MGS title. :/ Only grew 2 like the series through Egoraptor's MGA (Metal Gear Awesome) Series and watching a walkthrough for MGS: Twin Snakes.

Yeah we agreed that he had to shorten it a little in the neck before we leaves for the Desucon event.
he misses the radio and a kneepad still, but that will be fixed very quickly

youre welcome, this is a very good snake cosplay, most i have seen before is pretty...crappy. (oh, almost forgot, also the bandanna could be "lighter"/smaller or something

but if you see the concept art, itΒ΄s pretty thick and hides alot of forehead and upper edges of the eyes.
The MGS1 snake had a smaller/Thinner one
but maybe it has something to do with the fabric we used as well since it was the only one in the store that had the right color and stiff-ness

True, Snake got pretty wide bandanna in Snake Eater. And yeah thats what I meant, the fabric looks a bit thick. I dont want to sound like an awful critic, so I say again this is certainly one of the best snake cosplays I have seen!

itΒ΄s nice to see that there is someone spots small details like that.
I do it myself
I(in my opinion)would have used maybe some cotton fabric for this rather than fleece.
would maybe have been easier to form and fix
