A surpassingly impressive sketch.The attention to detail in the muscles and expression is very close realism.However, the hakama below his waist is a journey into pure surrealism, motioning the various gesticulations of his unseen hands, grafting intricate and other-worldly patterns.Even the stark simplicity of the name gives it an amazing feel. Highly impressive and something that anyone would love as a clothing design or piece of simply riveting etching.

Very nice shading and patterns here, and I really love how the design fades into the background near the bottom. Also kinda neat how if you study the design long enough you can point out different shapes and objects (I just found a cluster of hands!) =0
Overall a very beautiful sketch.
