so very uncolorful indeed! cool and evocative. definitely a dark comic book scene. although the damp paper look reminds me of more real and recent new orleans situations as well.

i think this turned out to be a much stronger piece using this muted palette.
new orleans is always kind of damp hurricanes or not.. I suppose that is to be expected when one has to walk UP to the Mississippi.

actually...I really like this (even if my first thought was a Firesign Theater thought..."she walked into my office with a pair of 38's & a gun in each hand. "Danger, you've screwed me for the last time". I wracked my mind, trying to remember when I'd screwed her at all. I made a vow then & there to quit drinking, it always seemed to lead me into tight places...). I love the "ruined" picture look
