another image from this years Mardi Gras. If anyone has ever been down there im sure you have seen the more judgemental and outspoken (and i use this term loosely) christians who like to walk around and basically judge everyone down there. They also like to carry large wooden crosses. And if you look closesly at those crosses you will notice that on the bottom they have attached wheels. I like to remind that that Christ certainly didn't have that luxury when he was carrying his to Golgotha.full view please, twice the art, half the calories.

Haha...the 'why are these christians so creepy and mean' sign was mine...it was a recreation of 2005 mardi gras...in which bong hits for jesus came out with a bunch of signs and a canvas of jesus on the cross with his head cut out...see these two pics

indeed he is. it's not so much the ideas, it's the actual christians who are annoying. I have a big problem with the american brand of christianity. It's a very judgemental and way too fundamental. There was another sign a girl was holding up near St. Louis Cathedral that said 'why are these christians so creepy and mean' -- that sums it up for me.

i`ve heard so many complains about them...
romanian ones don`t bother anyone actually...
and there`s no one here protesting about them either.
if you tell them you don`t believe in god, for instance, they just think your crazy, and forget about you in the next 10 minutes.
but nobody really wants to find against them, why should they? most of them are just a bunch of poor, weak, pathetic fools who aren`t capable of making their life any better, so the idea of a good old man which will send them to heavan for it and takes care of them is really confortable.

they can be a real pain in the ass.. it's mostly the non-denominational fundamentalist groups--- which seem to be growing and growing.
The catholics aren't really a problem here, or people of the jewish faith, or even methodists and lutherans. It's just that growing group i mentioned above.
They just haven't figured out the 'judge lest ye be judged' part of the bible.

It is interesting to note that he used the word brother and may not have been using 'pansy' as a degradation. Considering the rest of his message he seemed rather light-hearted. Hard to say considering he didn't respond. I would rather assume his message was innocuous and that he meant well until/unless he proves otherwise.
