Description
As a series, these are based off of nude figures posing during a workshop I took recently with Alex Grey. My approach was to take cues from the shapes of the figures as inspiration for certain kinds of contours that have been growing in my work. The colors were inspired by emotional feel, and I deliberately withheld from saturating the figures with many colors, as sometimes limiting the color palette can be very effective, as I believe it is with these.
