Description She once lost Her boy, and now She's come back
Our parents all worry, they make such a fuss
For if She can't find him, She'll take one of us

I went to go see The Woman in Black last night!
It was AMAZING! If you really want to get scared, I recommend you go see this movie! Daniel Radcliffe did an excellent job!
The only problem was that it was too quiet, woops, I meant, LOUD AND OBNOXIOUS to hear anything! This generation of kids is horrible. All anyone did was talk and laugh the entire time, ruining the experience!
But otherwise, great movie and a crazy ending! Go see it!

I know! I loved this movie too! But I haven't even watched since I saw it in theaters yet. I thinks I will be within the next few weeks though!

I'm among this generation on kids, but I'm one of the few who ISN'T loud and obnoxious in movies...I facepalm at my fellow teenagers.

I agree, though, it was a great movie, pretty scary (considering it was my first real horror film) Great picture, too!

I am also among this generation of loud and obnoxious teenagers. My sister, who's 24, was probably the oldest person there...
It was a great film. Was it the first horror movie you've ever seen or ever seen in theaters? And thanks!

I KNOW! I HATED the people in my theatre, don't get me wrong. But for some odd reason, after making fun of the movie the entire time, we all, including me, clapped and cheered when we saw that he lived! But then they died and were in heaven with the mom and we were all like, Aww man!

Ooooooh I went to see this with my boyfriend...SO SCARY!!! And yes, Daniel Radcliffe was fantastic. I really want to read the book now, but I can’t find it anywhere except on Amazon. I guess I’ll be ordering it, then! Excellent job with this drawing!

I went to see it with my friends, I jumped at everything and I didn't sleep that night and had to run to the light switch because my house makes strange noises and has one long landing upstairs that when the doors are open looks like the corridor from Women In Black. Gosh, I still have to keep the covers over my head. It has a way of popping to my mind just as I'm about to go to sleep! I don't think it should have been a 12a though, more like a 15! Well worth going to see it

aspiringauthor20 In reply to GreenYosh [2012-02-26 10:22:19 +0000 UTC]

It's REALLY creepy when my mum's left her bedroom door open and it's dark *shudders*. 12a is the age rating it was given in England

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

GreenYosh In reply to aspiringauthor20 [2012-02-26 19:42:48 +0000 UTC]

Ah! In America it's PG13 and I was surprised b/c I thought it would be rated R (17 or older) but I guess that's only for blood and gore and stuff.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

aspiringauthor20 In reply to GreenYosh [2012-02-26 22:27:25 +0000 UTC]

I agree, for a twelve year old with a parent/guardian seems a bit young to me after watching I thought it would have been at least a 15. I think some of the most effective scary films are not the blood and gore ones, but the ones that settle in your mind and keep coming back to you, like this one. Such a good film though

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

GreenYosh In reply to aspiringauthor20 [2012-02-26 23:01:45 +0000 UTC]

Exactly! Blood and gore movies like Saw are just gross, not scary!

It scares me to think about how these people came up with these ideas for films and books 8S. My friend adores the saw movies, I just think they're sick *turns green*

I had the exact same problem. I wanted to slap the bitches that were about three rows behind me, they would NOT shut-up! Even their friends were getting pissed off with them and telling them to be quiet, but they still wouldn't. Very, very annoying. ¬¬

Other than that, the movie was wonderful. Loved every minute of it.

I know what you mean! I was expecting the theatre to be empty (b/c after Deathly Hallows Part 2 came out I took my little sister to do see it the next day since she probably would've fell asleep at the premiere and there wasnb't anyone there, although it was in the afternoon and more people go at night I guess) but it was full! We finally found somewhere to sit and it was right in front of these girls from my school. And then, my best friend's friends from another school saw him and decided to sit next to him and they kept whispering and one of them screamed REALLY loud at the part where he puts his hand on the window and she dropped her drink! I kept wanting to stand up and scream everytime someone in the room made a loud noise or something! You wouldn't believe it! They were little middleschoolers and highschoolers that came just to make fun of the movie so they burped and other people laughed and some would make noises when it was a really quite part in the movie (the parts you try listening for little noises at) trying to trick us! Only a few people told them to shut up really loud but that never worked. It just encouraged them even more. I was about ready to leave, get my money back, and go another time but I knew I would have to wait a while before less and less people went to it every night!
But over all, great movie! Sorry for the long comment!

lyiint In reply to GreenYosh [2012-02-25 22:34:25 +0000 UTC]

No problem at all. I feel your frustration. Next time it happens, I'm going right out to the movie theater staff and getting them to kick out obnoxious people that can't be quiet.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

GreenYosh In reply to lyiint [2012-02-26 04:25:04 +0000 UTC]

My sister said she really wanted to but that wouldv'e ended up being 90% of the people there. And it would interupt the movie. I wonder if they'd start it over after the obnoxious people left?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

lyiint In reply to GreenYosh [2012-02-26 15:40:35 +0000 UTC]

Probably not. Especially if it was an early show, because then it would cut into the time the late show would start.
