Its fanart of Ripto, that short guy that was pretty cool and shouted a lot in Spyro 2: Gateway to Glimmer, then apparently died at the final bosses climax and suddenly returned as an utter rubber-faced joke in Enter the Dragonfly.Also Gateway to Glimmer is probably my favorite game of all time, I love it maybe a bit too much.
My first attempt at doing a 'lineartless' digital painting with seamless 3D shading.
Did I succeed? Maybe.

Ah, Gateway to Glimmer? It feels like yesterday when I last played that even though it was probably a good 7 or 8 years ago... Maybe not that old since I got it second hand from my cousin who had already owned it for a few years.
Probably one of the best Spyro games in my opinion~

Yep, my favourite game too! It sucks when you complete it altogether though. Though I suppose it's the same with any excellent game-you don't want it to end!
Ripto was a cool villain, probably my favourite out of the classic games (I don't count anything as the classic games after the original trilogy)

Ironically, I've never 100% Gateway to Glimmer. I've attempted to multiple times but ended up givign up around the start of Winter Tundra.
I need to man up and finally do it. XD
I like Ripto too, he's probably second to Gnasty Gnorc, then Ineptune, the Sorceress and then Red, who was kinda boring IMO.
I kinda count Spyro 1 to Heroes Tail as the Classic series, but that's just me, since I really enjoyed Heroes Tail. XD (I really, really dislike Legend of Spyro and I'm kinda iffy on Skylanders.)
This was my first attempt at doing a digital painting without lineart, I've done digital painting in the past, just with loads of lineart. XD

Go for it! It's hard and it took me years...and years...but it's worth beating the game, because you get that awesome feeling. Unfortunately then it's ruined in five minutes when you realise the game is over and there's nothing left to do.
Yes, I quite like Heroes Tail as well, almost forgot about it! It's about the only one I did after Spyro 3. To be honest, the change in company sort of ruined it. They were going in a good direction with Heroes Tail but then they rebooted. I've only played some of the first game of Legend of Spyro, and I don't mind it, as long as I don't think of it as Spyro. It's just a dragon with the same name. The personalities are completely different. I haven't gotten very far into the game though so I can't say all that much.
