I was never satisfied by the colours of my first version ([link] ), so here is another version. Please tell me which one you prefer

I just wonder if you should have left the green of the stem and leaves, as well.

Well, you are now the second person to suggest that about the stem, and I actually did try a version like that, and (this is a secret) I think I do prefer it, but I am horribly lazy you see, and the problem was that the other version was darker and less contrasted (I messed up a bit I think), so the hair only look like a black blob, and instead of starting again, I just posted this one...

What do you mean by a print ? Do you mean through deviant ? I have no idea how that works lol, but I since I always post edit on resized images, I'm not sure they are large enough for prints ?

Le N&B! Rien d'étonnant de ma part, certes donc j'argumente. Son regard ressort beaucoup mieux, en particulier l'iris de ses yeux. On les distingue moins sur l'autre vu qu'ils sont marron-noisette (avec un peu de vert, je crois) par rapport à ses cheveux et à sa couleur de peau. D'ailleurs ses cheveux d'un noir profond soulignent idéalement son visage.
Je regrette un peu que la pétale au bord de ses lèvres ne soit pas aussi rougeoyante que sur l'autre.
As-tu essayé de mettre la rose en N&B? Je pense qu'elle devrait ressortir dans les tons sombres. Ou alors laisser la tige bien verte ce qui ajouterait un contraste de couleur.
Une dernière chose : tu peux faire savoir à ta soeur que je ne veux pas surtout pas la rencontrer au cas où elle serait naturellement aussi fatale qu'ici.

artistically, this one wins, by a huge margin.
i find it very difficult to get a good (portrait) result when the focus is as sharp as this picture. for a colour portrait of such a lovely subject, it needs to be softer. plus, i think the background in the colour version was too stark.
my amateur opinion(s).

Thank you, I'm so glad you think that. I love sharp focus though, but it didn't look good in the other one too much. The problem with hte background was that my wall is not white but pink...

Oh wow, what a difference! I like this version even better. 
Tip: I noticed that there are still quite a bunch of slightly colored patches in the B&W area, which seems to suggest that you've used some sort of brush to remove the colors. You'll get smoother results by using the lasso tool to select the areas you want to edit, and then reducing the saturation of that selection to the desired level. If needed, a small brush can be used afterwards, to apply the finishing touches.
