Well i couldnt come up with a better name as usual lolI was looking through my books and wanted to draw a horse, but i wanted to draw a bird too, so i was like "why not both!" so i went ahead and drew this.
Tis the best horse with wings ive ever drawn! And i love how the background came out as well.
As references i used a horse pic and a bluejay pic...
Done in prismacolor colored pencils.

Now THAT is one of the most beautiful pegasus I have ever seen. Bluejays happen to be one of my favorite birds.

That's really beautiful. I tend to combine animals alot, that's how I came up with my tigron spieces*tiger/dragon*. I'll get a random idea of, "I wonder what these two animals in a hybrid would look like.

I remember the blue jays that would come and steal our cat's food at our other house...and one or two ended up becoming the cat's meal for it... D:

Thankyou! Yea i kinda am drawing just birds, but witht the horses. I didnt really get the idea untill i did my goose one. I was working on one earlier, and its of a mallard colored horse, but ive got some mallards flying above it too, so yea im trying som birdys too

This is a really lovely image. A quite unique take on a pegasus. I simply love the color scheme and the pose. The wings are done really nicely, too.
Just one little nitpick on an awesome image. Wouldn't the horse cast a shadow onto the snow beneath it?
Other than that though, quite an awesome piece of work.
