Have you ever read "The Long Walk" by Stephen King? This picture reminds me of that book.
The main char of that book is a teenage boy who joined into a race. The rule of the race is you have to keep walking on a long road with a speed above 4 miles per hour and you have to keep going (no rest, not even for the restroom or to sleep) until only one person is left. The one who falls below the 4 miles per hour for 3 times in 3 hours are killed.
It's one of the best read I've ever had.
