Twelve years ago, billionaire Roderick Gideon lost his beloved wife and two daughters to a drunk driver. The driver, the wife of a foreign diplomat, claimed diplomatic immunity and fled the country without facing charges. Denied justice by a system that protected the guilty, Roderick took matters into his own hands and formed the Gideon Foundation. The Foundation operates outside the system, bringing justice where governments and law enforcement cannot.

The Foundation's field operatives are known as Security Consultants, and Avery (in the red dress) and Layla (in the black catsuit) are two of its most effective. Both are skilled with numerous weapons and in multiple combat techniques. In addition, Avery speaks seven languages and Layla holds a PhD in theoretical physics.
