Description
My submission to 's game art contest with the theme of "wind".Description:
Wind Boss Spirolos, a powerful deamon from the elemental plain of air. He uses the wreckage and debris from his rampages as make shift armor to protect himself from attackers. Like all elementals, he seeks out magical artifacts, draining them of their sorcery to increase his own strength. His voice sounds like the harsh, base hiss of low winds. Spirolos never stays in one place for long, much like the wind he commands. His current base of operation is "The Ebon Expanse" Located in the Baskanaar Desert.
A boss concept, possibly for an "epic raid" style dungeon. You'd probably need like...two healers to beat this guy! Wanted to play around with the design of a monster any Fantasy Gamer would recognize.

Funny you should mention, this was actually done as part of a contest a few years back to design a video game boss based around the idea of "wind". I took a pretty literal approach. Thank you for the comment!

That game had some pretty rad monster designs. I'd be lying if I said some of my monster designs weren't inspired by that game.

Great design. I have a character that is a Wind Elemental and had a heck of a time creating a look for it.
