These are some of the wrestler illustrations I did for the Pro Wrestling Torch (pwtorch.com ). They were drawn with pencil/brush pen, colored in Photoshop.I'm not super-familiar with pro wrestling, so I ended up using a lot more photo reference on these than I usually do. They wanted more "realistic than cartoony," so using lots of photo refs helped in that aspect, too.

I've seen these individually on message boards. I liked them so much that I tried to find out if there was a James Storm one. Didn't find one, so I was inspired to make one myself which now resides in my gallery here!

Great job on these, Grant. I'm a regular reader of the Torch website, so I was impressed the first time I saw these a while back. I've gotta echo the other comments in that I hope you eventually do more of these for the Torch.
Not to marginalize your other work, but looking through several pages of your gallery, I definitely prefer the more realistic approach you took to these specific portraits, and didn't see that anywhere else. You have a knack for that stuff that, as far as I can tell, is criminally underutilized and would translate so well to many other commercial properties. Keep up the good work!
