LET ME SEE

After loosing his parents, sister, and wife (in other words: everybody close to him) in a massive disaster he had to endure years of poverty.

After hopping from job to job for many years, he got a breakthrough and became one of the best in a profession- only to years later run off and go into hiding at the height of his career to pursue the case of one really corrupt official, and-okay, this is already quite something for a Neopets character ._.

I'd like to know more about his history....The whole Shenkenese-Desert thing. How'd he come to be both?

Hmm, okay, long comment time.

"Jahi Khiye..." Actual name unknown, is neither Shenkese nor he he Sakhmetan. He actually hails from Mara- wait, what?


...Hang on, that's right. He's actually Maraquan! 8D


So we all know about the junk the Maraquans have experienced- giant whirlpool, yanno. Khiye had everything he wanted. Despite the poor economic situation they were currently in, he was at the height of his life- Just got married, just settled into a new home- what could go wrong?

Then, everything did. The giant whirlpool waged for a week... He lost everything.

After that was the slow, slow building of New Maraqua. He finally managed to land himself a decent job... but when he was transferred to a different division he had the misfortune of having corrupt superiors, who found a way to fool him into making a small mistake just so they could have a reason to fire him.

He then endured the backbreaking job of mining for the months after... Then, finally, his luck changed. He got a great job and over the years became one of the best in that profession- But as quickly as the joy came, it faded.

He then heard rumors of a official (all the way in Meridell) living in luxury while the rest of the village suffered, among those suffering was a poor family being constantly blackmailed.

Khiye then recruited many so that they may finally bring the nearly-untouchable official to prison, however in the lengthy process of obtaining proof and information he also learned of many other cases flying about.

He later went into hiding despite it being the height of his career, as being a prominent figure he had so much potential to be discovered.

He escaped with the help of acquaintances in Shenkuu. There, they made him quite the convincing disguise- There, he also soothed some of those deep scars by working as a bonsai gardener as part of the disguise.

Eventually there was the need to return to his profession to be able to get more information, so with this he then fled to the Lost Desert (with awesome new clothes, still sorta Shenkese but accented with the colors of the desert) and somehow manage to legally label himself a Desert Aisha with the name Jahi Khiye.

Back in the profession but now not quite in the spotlight, he safely manages to recover almost all the pieces of evidence he needs to bring justice, thanks to the members he recruited- But no matter how organized they were, eventually he found out. One of the vital members he recruited was murdered, the evidence burned, and quickly the identities of most of the members were also found out.

Now Khiye has to obtain new information all over again with only himself and one spy left.

...It will involve flocks of hundreds upon hundreds of Tomamus flying across Meridell.

Maraquan?! Now, that's a twist!

I must say, he's done quite a lot of hiding..."His profession" is currently as a spy, right? What was his original profession? Before the whirlpool incident?

And sounds like things are heating up for him. D8 Only him, and one other spy, with no information? That's gonna be pretty tough.

This "untouchable" has yet to be brought to justice, I see?

Well, I can't wait to here more later! Excellent plotline!

He didn't have a notable job before the giant whirlpool. Just something modest enough to sustain himself and his wife.

After the whirlpool though he was recruited on the Maraquan Army as a strategist.

Then after the war and after more than enough mining he sort of lingered with the big money-making sport stars and whatnot, and of course with people like that there are bound to be scandals running about.

The one they're mainly after, yes, used to be sort of a celebrity but after retiring from that decided to pursue politics, though obviously he turned corrupt after some time in his position.

This official has more than enough money to completely corner the poor family they're blackmailing. He has cronies read every single letter that the poor family receives and sends, to prevent them from plotting something against him.

..And so, Khiye has devised a plan to give these cronies a bit of an annoyance, a plan involving tons of junkmail. Shenkese junkmail. hee hee, this is mysterious

It'll be a slow process to retrieve the only evidence remaining: The blackmail the family has received.

Well, I sure hope Khiye pins this sucka. Blackmailing is not something anybody should get away with.
