Very gorgeous to Gwen, really love the facial structure and her suit is more linear. Great work on her!

Beautiful work on her. To me, she’s still alive and not dead after being tossed off the New York bridge by the Green Goblin.

Thank you .

And yeah, I feel ya there with Gwen still beeing around. For me she might not be there physically, but she'll definitely stay in our hearts. Might've been a little cheesy, but I think that'd be the exact same thing Pete would say in that moment '^'

Nice artwork of the different Gwen versions you have made.

Many people don't like that name.  It just doesn't fit her well and her powers are not linked to spiritual and magical like a ghost.  Earth-65 Gwen didn't die unlike many other Gwens versions to be called a ghost.

How I feel the name would work in some alternate versions of Gwen or even if 616 Gwen was brought back (if Marvel did truely bring her back and not kill her off agian 5 issues later):

1. In a Multiverse world yet seen exists a Spider-Woman/Gwen Stacy that is alot like Earth-65 version.  Peter dies in that version and Gwen makes a deal with the devil to bring him back.  Becoming a hybrid Ghost Rider/Spider-woman in the process.

2.  On 616 or another yet seen Multiverse world we have a Gwen who dies.  On that world Miles Warren/Jackal like before tries to clone Gwen but doesn't work yet he is successful in cloning Spider-man making Ben and Kaine in the process.  Peter, Ben, and Kaine stop and have Miles arrested.  Peter and Ben tell Miles as he's being taken away that even if he cloned Gwen the new girl born would be her own person like Ben is Peter's brother and his own person.  Peter and Ben hoped that their talk would help Miles see clearly his errors.  He understood what they were saying but took it the wrong way.
Escaping from prison Miles tried once more to clone/rescued/resurrect Gwen Stacy but this time with a few differences.  Seeing how the Spider-men he clone were successful and self healed allowing them to live he decided Gwen also must have Spider-powers in order to live and for the clone process to work this time.  Plus he understood that Ben was truly his own person separate from the Spider-man he got blood from and birth him.  A separate person with a separate soul.  In order to truly 'resurrect' Gwen he need to ensure Gwen's soul was the one he knew of to be place in the clone vessel.  That require 'magic' and that he was not familiar with.  Teaming up with a sorcerer the delicate process to resurrect Gwen with a merger of science, superpowers, and magic began.  Just as the full process was nearing its end Peter and Ben tracked his location down a barged in.  The surprize attack halted the full ritual process from the magic user as he fled while Miles worked despitly to ensure Gwen would live.  Stopping Miles both Peter and Ben were shocked and was too late to stop what Miles hoped to achieve.  Gwen Stacy was back...yet not fully.  One 'foot' in the world of the living once more but another foot touching the world of the dead Gwen was now linked to two worlds.  She was now a ghost and Spider herself.  A Ghost Spider.
How I would image these powers of her work:  Can see spirits both as Gwen when not using her powers but can only talk to them as a astral projection.  Using either side of her new powers both as Spider or her Ghostly power makes her hair white and pale looking.  A slight glow when activating her ghost powers.  Ghost powers being tangibility, stealth invisibility, and slight hovering off the ground (yet never learned how to fly properly thus needs to use her spider powers and web shooters to get around fast yet can web swing though buildings thus not expected fast like Peter and Ben is her ghost 'shortcuts' allows her to keep up with them and many time beat them in a web swinging race.

I agree that "Ghost Spider" doesnt fit her very well. She's just your average Spider-Woman who isn't in any sort of way a resemblance of a Ghost. Maybe they couldve changed around the suit to make it more reasonable , but even that would be too much considering her costume design is something that really makes her stand out compared to the other Spidey people.

Imo Gwen should just stay dead in the 616 universe as her death clearly made a big impact on Peters and Mary Janes life too.

I really like your first idea of them bringing in Ghost Spider. Making a deal with Mephisto would be interesting, though I wonder what Gwens side of the bargain would be. Maybe he gets her soul? Maybe in addition to that her reputation as Ghost Spider is ruined with the state beeing against her side. The cause for that could be something like an attempted murder to Peter Parker. That could be also a pretty interesting thing if Pete maybe didnt know about Gwen Stacy beeing Ghost Spider which leads him to despise Ghost Spider (which could be somewhat compared to Gwens and Peters relationship with Gwen hating Spider-Man except for other reasons back then in 616). Just a few things that maybe couldve been added there to make the deal between Mephisto somewhat be also a burden for Gwen i guess.

I like the origins of your seond idea, but I would prefereably just add a few more human elements to her so she wouldnt completely come of as Ghost. For example beeing able to talk and stuff like that. Imo thats what makes Spider-Man and the other Spider people so great, because they got these 2 identities that they gotta deal with, as it more often that not wasnt a choice for them to live like that you know. Though these are just my thoughts, other may disagree so I don't really mind.

Overall I really like these ideas,

And thank you your feedback

In the 2nd idea Gwen/Ghost Spider does talk and have a civilian identity (while mostly in the mortal world she looks human and everything but when she wants to talk to a spirit she can but people that see her thinks she is crazy talking to thin air or Gwen is invisible if Gwen goes full astral projection to talk to a spirit)

I actually have a couple of ideas really and this was just two.  Taken what you have written has also added some more.

I'm a fan of Multiverse MJ and Multiverse Gwen.  While both the 616 versions I'm neutral with I find many of the other versions have captured my interest or likes.  Thus every time a new version is made or about to be presented I'm curious to what creativity, characterization, and story they might have.  That also said I'm also very HARD and harsh on all versions of MJ and Gwen made due my interest in them in being good characters.  There are many time different versions have done things/actions/writing that I absolutely disliked.  What I hope to avoid influences how I hope the characters are presented or future versions made.  If not avoid then call out and make the characters understand and grow as better people.

It's interesting you wrote that Gwen hated Spider-man.  That was true but it reminded me about how the writers presented 616 Gwen and alternate versions closely linked to the 616 version.  In that she reacts very emotionally faster than normal then in second or shorter time than most begins to ask questions and think logically.

In the recent Clone Conspiracy we had another Gwen version linked to version one 616 Gwen who told Peter that she/Gwen died not hating but very upset that Peter never told her the truth that she was untrustworthy.  However she had let go of hating Spider-Man after taking some time to think clearly in London and she didn't die hating him.

On a Earth version linked to 616 till splitting off making 617 (happened when Earth-65 Gwen's multiverse watch broke and sent her to 616 in the past but to ensure a time paradox didn't happen when Earth-65 Gwen landed on that Earth it was split and formed 617) another Gwen that had the exact history and characterization of 616 Gwen due to being the same till the split happened.  When Earth-65 Gwen Stacy landed right in front of her 617 Gwen first screamed...then in second invited Earth-65 Gwen to lunch so she could ask many questions and stopped freaking out to a jarred Earth-65 Gwen.  Earth-65 meeting up with 617 Gwen altered and made a new path and Earth and in the end 617 Gwen lived due to the alterations.

On another alternate Earth but closely linked (and at one point was 616 till canon wise it couldn't be due to time span difference of WW2 and present and the series began with the main character experiencing the beginnings of Marvel universe history with the first Human Touch android character) a photographer met up with Gwen Stacy when she came back from London.  The photographer was trying to prove Spider-man innocence in the Death of Captain Stacy.  Gwen was on the same page for before she left to London to cool down and think straight she reacted emotionally hurting and in grief and blamed Spider-man not thinking straight but needed somebody to blame.  Thinking straight she felt shame for her reaction and understand Spider-man wasn't to blame and wanted to help the photographer/reporter with proof of Spider-man's innocence.  She had proof that Doc Ock was to blame and Spider-man was a hero and she was going to give that proof to the photographer but then she got a call from MJ telling her that Harry was gravely sick due to overdosing and Gwen rushed over to see him first.  Gwen and MJ seeing Harry gravely sick was in the issue she died in.  The photographer never got that info Gwen had found.

In psychology and studies of human emotions and logic the emotional side of our brains react and reach us quicker then the logical side.  In face in studies it usually take about 5 minutes for logic to kick in for humans.  For Gwen it seems like her mind and emotions and logic react quicker than most characters.  Quick in being emotional releasing all at once but then in minutes or even seconds while other characters not panicking as heavily but still panicking Gwen is calm and now fascinated and working out questions, solutions, and logical thinking doing her detective and scientist work (617 who lived wen ton to be a superhero herself bonding to a Symbiote but having a true partnership with it and went on to become her Earth's greatest forensic detective all while also studying the Multiverse thanks to Earth-65 Gwen sudden appearance before her in the past).

Other ideas being:
Like how OMD happen with a deal with the devil after Aunt May was mortally wound on another world the Devil shows up after Gwen neck snaps and makes a deal with a hasty panicking Peter for Gwen to live.  The deal was to help the current Ghost Rider stop a upcoming demon that was acquiring power that could possible cause the devil some problems down the road and challenge his rule in Hell.  Peter asks if that is all that is required of him and the Devil says yes.
As you wrote 'wasn't a choice for them' the deal had that Gwen would live but now she would become a tool of his in similar fashion as the Ghost Riders are (instead of Peter who makes the deal however the Devil focuses Gwen to bear part of the cost).  Peter asking the Devil if that was all that was required of "him" didn't think to ask if ANYBODY else might be affected by the deal.  Not reading the fine print of the deal Peter doesn't know one of the conditions that would affect the one being brought back to life: Gwen Stacy.

Taking Gwen's spirit that was on course to Heaven and also placing a  inside her that also was causing him trouble in Hell he bonded the two as one.  This Japanese Yokai Spider Woman name was 'Jorōgumo' en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jor%C5%8… stopping him many times in the past with a web of illusions and strong fire webs that halted him from affecting others negativity in time.  He had recently subdued her and by trapping her in Gwen the Yokai would be bonded and imprisoned within Gwen.

The Devil believing Gwen Stacy was of nobody of importance and simply 'the girlfriend' and 'damsel in distress' one in a million variety the spirit bonded to her would grant her instant healing which might sound good at first but the Devil knew two situations that worked for him.  As long as Gwen was alive Jorōgumo would remain out of his business trapped inside her plus Gwen would heal often to the point it seemed that she would not age and live to see all she cares about dying on their deathbeds.

However he underestimated her.  Gwen recalled dying and was for a short time affected by it that others believed Gwen might need psychological help suffering PTSD.  But Gwen's ever growing curiosity to WHY she wasn't dead soon overtook any fear inside her.  Soon Gwen began having visions and out of body experiences when she slept.  A unknown woman's voice calling to her.  A giant spider and without her consent her new life partner Jorōgumo.
Jorōgumo told Gwen that the Devil thinks she can't do anybody annoyance to him.  Gwen and her were going to prove him very wrong.  With Gwen being a very good scientist and Jorōgumo power flowing through her they would stop any demon that intended to harm or corrupt a innocent soul.

Soon a Unknown hero was swing the skies named Ghost Spider.  Ghost Spider told Spider-man she was new yet having this new power she was once told by somebody special to her (Peter) about great power and responsibly.  Ghost Spider knows Spider-man wasn't to blame for the late Captain Stacy's death (and felt guilty she once did giving Jameson ammo against Spider-man's public image thus wanted to take responsibility in some form to her past actions).  Ghost Spider however hope to have a teacher to the hero business she was now involved in and felt Spider-man would be not just a good teacher having similar powers as his (plus other spiritual ones of her own) but possibly if Spider-man had a partner there she could cover his back plus keep a eye out for dangers to the public that Spider-man might not be able to get to in time (like what happened to her father).

Gwen decided not to tell Peter about her new powers as ever since she had that 'incident' on the bridge Peter had been super over protective of her and she felt babied.  She figured he would lose his mind and have a heart attack if he discovered she was the new vigilante Ghost-Spider.  She felt bad to constantly lying to Peter and even miss dates (which usually Peter was the one late for their dates in the past).  Plus for Gwen having now partnering with Spider-man she started to feel a attachment to him and wondering if she was cheating on Peter.  Thinking that Peter deserved better and somebody who could truly be with him full time decided to tell Peter the hurtful but she felt necessary 'just friends' speech.  Gwen did this when she discovered that MJ was single once more and Gwen and MJ were best friends outside of Peter of course.  Gwen figured Peter and MJ would be a perfect fit and Gwen would be happy for her two friends being together knowing they would be happy that way vs alone.

Speaking of MJ ever since Gwen 'died' some time before she wasn't the same party girl Gwen knew.  When Spider-man was off doing battle with Ghost Rider to battle some powerful demon and based on what Gwen was told Peter went missing during that time frame Gwen's body still needed had to be watched over.  While other were told she was sick or in a coma MJ knew the truth.  For it was she that was task to keep watch over Gwen's cold body.  Seeing her dear friend dead before her for a few days was a painful and disturbing experience for MJ and also a 'wake up' call.  That the 'party' one day will be over.  Peter hurt by Gwen's death before he vanished for awhile need somebody by his side shaken by a dead Gwen and MJ was also that person.

MJ first tried to convince herself once Gwen woke up suddenly that Gwen truly was in a coma and things were back to normal for everybody.  Things were never the same for anybody.

With Peter and MJ starting a relationship Gwen focused on honing the additional abilities bonded by the Yokai.  Thus far she was mimicking Spider-man's powers but barely taped the levels of power the Yokai offered using mostly science which Gwen was comfortable with vs the spiritualism and magical sides.  Gwen disappeared to 'wander' the Earth going to many spiritual spots requested by Jorōgumo that might help Gwen.  First off was Japan.

Gwen would tap into other abilities such as the 'Yokai sense' in sensing a nearby demon that had ill intent.

Gwen and Ghost Spider would be gone till Gwen got word that Peter and MJ would be married.  Rushing back home ending her spiritual quest and answers she was seeking Gwen became MJ's best woman.

Gwen staying in NYC once more resumed going back to college stopping after first the bridge incident.  Balancing school and public life once more but also super-heroism was difficult for Gwen.  However things got easier once MJ deducted that Ghost-Spider was Gwen.  Shocked that Gwen and Peter 'didn't know' MJ told Gwen that she, MJ, and Peter should have a long 'talk'.

Many years later the Devil once more visited Peter and MJ to make a deal... Gwen sensed his presence and knocked literally his head off before he could speak.  Gwen soon became honorary 'Aunt Gwen' as called by Annie Parker daughter of Peter and MJ.  The four of them would have many adventures together.

I have alot more ideas (including based on the other commenter that '616 Gwen's spirit is always around') but I'm stopping here as the above one was much longer then I thought I would make it.  Might post a few more in the future including one that is part of a arc in my head that destroys the deal made in OMD.

Didnt know that Gwen said that in the Clone Conspiracy run, since i just didnt read most of Slott's run as ive both heard and read that his interpretation of Peter and Spider-Man is completely wrong (for example Peter only screwing up in life, Peter acting like a man-child etc.) and was also considered by some that his run ruined/damaged this character so I'd rather pass. I stopped reading after some issues of BND 'cause it just didnt feel the same. Glad that Spencer is doing some work with this Spider-Man though. So all in all Im sorry about that.

I really like your first idea of Gwen bonding with the symbiote and becoming her worlds greatest detective, though I was really fascinated with your second idea in which Gwen is bonded with the japanese Spider Woman Jorōgumo. It all plays out pretty good in my head, and the ideas themselves aren't really the same stories we have, which certainly makes the story fresh. I personally think this would work out pretty damn good as a comic. Might be worth a shot if wouldnt be too much of a hassle in your personal life . I myself would be pretty new to this, but I'd give it a shot to draw the comic or atleast a proportion of it if you'd be up for it .

Overall I really appreciate the possible stories of yours with Gwen having the fitting name of Ghost-Spider

Scott's run was back a forth with me.  Sometimes it was good and sometimes it wasn't.  I really enjoyed his Silver Surfer run and his last storylines with Spider-man during the "Red Gobin" arc and his final issue being a sweet one told by the perspective of a uncle he saved long ago.

That is something I find in everybody who writes for a character greatly one's we follow for such a long time.  It's a matter of perspective and how I truly see a particular version of a character might be different for other how they truly see a version of a character and writers are no different.  However being writers I feel they do want to do the best they can but I do hope information and research is done first to support the writings.  Everytime a new writer comes along writing the character they might feel different but it still might be in the end very good or not in personal experiences.  I have a couple of characters I loved by the former writers who are about to have a new writers and artists (visual wise can affect how a person sees a character also as the saying goes a picture speaks thousand words) during this 'Fresh Start' Marvel is doing and I'm hopeful but also worried.

That 'first idea' isn't a 'Idea'.  I enjoyed the Spider-Gwen series and this happened I think in issues "Spider-Gwen #29-31".  Earth-617 Gwen bonded with the symbiote and became her worlds greatest detective.  Now in her 30's like current 616 Peter is 617 Gwen when not solving crimes and taking down supervillians on 617 is visiting Earth-8 to see her alternate version plus see Earth-8 Gwen's the kid she never had (Earth-8 versions Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy both have their powers plus eventually got married and had kids of their own).
617 Gwen since the incident during her college days when Earth-65 Gwen showed up in front of her had her focus on the possibilities and endless wonders a Multiverse could have.  617 Gwen after Earth-65 Gwen left began learning all she could eventually making a device and finding weak spots that allowed doorways to other worlds that allowed her to travel and study the Multiverse.  Ironically the Bridge if jumped off and sent falling without stopping hitting a certain speed is a weak point and a person would safely travel the Multiverse from there breaking though just before hitting the water that might kill a person.  "So many Gwen's fell from this spot but not one knew they could just jump from this spot and be safe."
617 Gwen was disappointed that in a Multiverse that had such possibilities and 'alternates' why the Multiverse wasn't 'creative' enough.  In that 617 Gwen felt a disappointment how certain people versions felt copy and paste when Multiverse should allow diffances to be happening plus why both Ben and many versions of her died.  617 Gwen began wondering if some great forcuses was pulling the strings and didn't like changes.  617 Gwen saved a few Multiverse Gwens from dying and forming a team these Gwen began studying the Multiverse and researching why things are the way they were.  This got on two Watchers attention when 'characters' were as far as they were concerned acting 'OOC' and they saw somebody was messing around in the Multiverse.  617 Gwen popped up before them and basically told them her team was doing a better job watching over and studying the Multiverse while the Watchers got lazy.

Here is a actually bio page found in the back of Spider-Gwen #31 (Spider-Gwen's writer Jason Latour enjoy writing these bio pages found at the end of most Spider-Gwen isses about the charaters playing a role in his stories or cast which was inforative and entertaining to read) 2.bp.blogspot.com/-9lA4hC3mHDs…

"It all plays out pretty good in head, and the ideas themselves aren't really the same stories we have, which makes the story certainly fresh."

In the grand Multiverse I always thought that with that creative freedom writers could and should have different stories and even designs and backgrounds for characters yet having some links to past versions which would be for the best.  To avoid readers knowing what will happen next yet have some level of comfort to people who might get to shook up by the vast changes and have something to latch onto.  'Gwen Stacy' is unique as for many in the Cast 'Gwen Stacy' versions has been the one with the most diverse of characterizations and styles over the others.  I have a few theories to why this is but ultimately that factor just made her more compelling character in the Grand Multiverse with these changes for me.

"I personally think this would work out pretty damn good as a comic."

I've had a few ideas particularly involving Gwen and MJ and one of them I began working on character concepts for in the past for a comic (with some looking ok-good for the charazations I'm going for).  But never liking my own art I have ideas yet never liked what I put down on a 'comic page' to feel it fitted right.  Alot also coming from what i hope to avoid or present better based on past issues of versions of Gwen and MJ.

As I also wrote I still have a few more ideas that I would enjoy sharing with you.  Two that came up before the Ghost Spider naming and a few that came afterwards.  I might have some time to write/present a few more when i have some time later tonight and I hope you will enjoy them.

It mightve been my reading for not picking it up that the 617 Gwen actually existed as I havent read all her comics yet. I was going to read them all but I guess I just didnt get the time to do so.

And yes, I'd love to hear them if you want to!

Before I go on to the other ideas and information to what heavy negatives presentations yet also help influences by avoiding or making better and parody these ideas let me first just add a little more to "Gwen is bonded with the Japanese Spider Woman Jorōgumo" which was heavily influenced with bits of Spider-man lore, Ghost Rider lore, and Japanese lore of the Marvel comics.

In this Earth right after the marriage I believe on 616 the whole Clone Saga began and with it the debut of Ben Reilly/Peter's brother.  I know we have the MJxPeter fans and we also have that GwenxPeter fans and love Triangles (and I'll later go on to state why I mostly hate love triangles or wish a different alternative was presented that spiced it up or shifted things) that is common in Spider-man lore or at least the fanbases.  Well I've heard the statement in media and in comics when a guy sees a beautiful gal his friend is dating the words "Does she have a sister?" might pop up.  Taking that but a gender twist.
Gwen loves Peter and loves MJ like a sister holding both dear but due to circumstances has become the single gal of the three.  Then Ben Reilly comes along/aka Peter's brother.  Ben is his own person yet shares many positive qualities of Peter's and I can see Gwen falling in love with him and his positive attitude during time when her spirits need lifting (heck we can add how Gwen emotionally feels to how stable her powers might be and control thus a positive person close to her life sticking with her might be ideal).  In the end both the gals 'score'

MJ to Gwen: "Our boys are so cute."
Peter: We're not...
Ben: Yeah we're 'their' boys Peter.
Gwen and MJ: Hmmm

Now I'm a big Gwen and MJ fan.  As I wrote that also means I'm very spectacle and harsh when it comes to how they are presented.  Greatly if they are being showered with praise all the time but I felt wasn't earned (the earn is more gratifying to see then spoken as it hard work).  I'm say to say I felt this a couple of times for both various versions.  Particularly bad with MJ when Bendis was writing/involving her and in Web Warriors with Gwen.

In Ultimate 1610 Peter would praise MJ at a drop of a hat and see no faults yet another character he would scold for the same stuff or next to MJ be scolded despite doing nothing wrong or out of their control just to lower another to raise her and other characters up.  This however just got on my nerves alot as the praise I felt was not as earned and just annoyed me.  A character working hard and from the bottom up just feels more victorious.

This also happened during Bendis's Iron Man run as well where Tony and Friday 'Needed!" MJ whom they personal didn't know (maybe as OMD makes that confusing what characters know and don't know exactly) to take a position that was a super high leveled position just handed to her despite little experience on her resume and no college education for such a job and other possible better due to destroying her new nightclub (that she somehow attained money to make in Chicago that just opened (Iron Man wrecks tons for stuff yet many don't get high level jobs from that).  Friday pleading to how MJ is needed and she takes the job.  Then Tony goes into a coma and MJ doesn't really do much but show up to look nice per issues with characters praising her every issue.  The handout high level job with no qualifications and constant praise just irked me as I have consistently went to job interviews and it's a stressful time in a persona's life which I'm still getting hit by yet MJ gets a job like that.  I know networking is everything but that was ridiculous plus how NEEDED she was proclaimed to be was overdone and in the end MJ didn't contribute as much showcasing why her out of anybody was 'NEEDED'.

I also hated that Ultimate MJ 1610 PUNCHED Kitty Pride because she was a mutant "This is all your fault' and a love interest of Peter's despite when Kitty and Peter was in a relationship Peter in the end cheated on her with MJ at one point.  MJ constant jealousy moments in that series just made her look bad.  However that could of been salvageable which makes it worse.  In Spider-man multiverse lore a constant theme is 'Responsibility'.  What greater responsibility and growth is there then owning up to your own faults.  To recognize self weakness and ask for forgiveness of wrongdoing (very hard for people to do) and work to make things right.  One might allow MJ forgiveness that she punched Kitty then say she was overcome with worry for Peter out there and lashed out to a undeserving Kitty with MJ's pent up stress but only if when MJ got better and thought things through recognizes her hurtful unjust actions and bigotry in that moment of her weakness and we see her go up o Kitty asking forgiveness and a vow to be better.  MJ never did.

In Ultimate once more after Bendis own Clone saga take it was shown when MJ got jealous she slowly and unknowingly transformed into a beast thanks to Doc Ock's experiments.  This had so much potential to help MJ start a journey and character growth arc as MJ's quick jealousy was 'making a monster out of her'.  A arc where MJ wasn't praised yet her friends help her then she begins helping herself and recognize her faults (plus don't 'heal' her of that monster transformation so MJ always keeps her own self control of her emotions as she transitions from teen to adulthood maturity) would of called out these actions and help give MJ more depth and character growth which is always good to see.

Those 'Perfect' characters are not just annoying but unreliable but also seeing growth of characters is more fascinating.

In Spider-Gwen Gwen possibly has been Spider-Woman for a year maybe yet while she has some experience she still makes mistakes and messes up.  Just like Peter Gwen isn't perfect and her main series has her making rash choices sometimes.  In Web Warriors series Gwen is 'a league of her own and so talented and so much better and ect ect ect....'.  As huge Gwen/Spider-woman fan that annoyed the heck out of me.  At most she is a equal but not better then them all.  Seeing her making mistakes and learning as she goes was necessary and human.

Seeing how a character thinks and come up with decisions is always a good thing to do.  I recall during the Miles/Gwen and even the Jessica, Cindy, and Gwen team up it was presented better both how other might praise other characters and visa versa yet think lower about themselves.  During Miles thinking we see in his series: "Wow Gwen looks like a natural at this while I'm playing by ear looking like some inexperienced kid.  How does she do it?!"  During Gwen's series we see her thinking: "F### F### F###!  I'm looking like a inexperienced joke compared to Miles.  He probably has a plan for this battle in his head while my plan is kick everything!"

I also don't like when some writers kill their versions of Gwen simply because the 616 version died.  It's like killing MJ with Spider sperm cancer because one version died that way in the comics (Spider-man: Reign) yet all Multiverses are supposed to be their own fates and worlds.  Do so is lacking of creativity plus unlike in the 616 version where is was actually shocking for the time and had a follow up with MJ and Peter bonding in greif most don't have a follow thue.  Many times they might make a likable fitting gwen version then just kill her because it happened in 616.

Lastly the love triangle.  Many times I'm not a fan of that.  First off Peter is suppose to be shown as the 'nerd and loser' to some but also the 'everyman' to others.  Now for the 'everyman' status I don't recall having two models fighting over me yet I'll abandoning them on the dine while they don't know why leaving them alone.  This enters the 'wish fulfillment' areas then 'everyman'.  How guys wished two sexy gals was fighting over him having catfights or just being catty with each other and being models.  The matter that both gals bumped into each other when trying to see Peter only to spend a full day together with Peter missing could of been played up to grow their conflict transforming into friendship and then best friends that the two saw each other without Peter and hanged out having fun together.  I know that it was made during a different culture plus female parts were either 'the girlfriend' or some other form but mostly eye candy for a guy or damsel in distress.

In the Fantastic four even the woman on the team got 'defensive' powers with invisibility and shields yet would be 'the damsel' captured by Doom and Namor to be his bride many times despite being a superhero herself.  However now in a different culture some writers with imagination released that by accident her powers made her the MOST POWERFUL member of the group bar none.  Manipulating her powers that made shields into more then just shields she can make any blasts, tools, and weapons she needs and even fly with her powers as she makes a platform for herself under her.

How both MJ and Gwen were written to be apart of a love triangle is understandable for the times they debut in but now Peter has to show why he's so desirable to the two and a better light for such a love triangle to be.
Perhaps no 'love triangle' yet the three are a trinity in some form complimenting characteristics and fashion styles and they care greatly for each other.

Maybe a love triangle but a twist.  Gwen is Peter's childhood friend and neighbor and they love each other..like brother and sister.  It's revealed that Gwen is interested in girls not boys so many classmates not knowing better thought Peter and her would of been a good couple but Peter and Gwen laugh it off but do love each other in family bonds.  MJ shows up one day and Gwen and Peter are smitten with her.  Thus a 'love triangle' but instead of two sexy gals for Peter it's Gwen and Peter for MJ yet if anything bad ever happened to another the other two would feel it and suffer.

Betty and Veronica was the first and the one's compared in the same views to MJ and Gwen but Betty and Veronica had their own series and personalities and friendships shown constantly making better characters and triangle and cast in the process.  I guess if MJ and Gwen had a series together I would avoid the Spider-man Love Mary Jane route as it's been done but make it a Comedy-drama with more towards comedy and characterizations and Peter barely showing up (so he doesn't hog the attention or focus).  The two trying to solve a mystery and getting caught up into bigger things.

I enjoyed the Gwen version shown in the recent Robbie Thompson's Spidey so part influenced for that (during that series there was about three different artists and each shown that Gwen's fashion wise a bit differently but I like the first artist style and that Gwen's fashion style the most) thus that version of Gwen would be a big influence. Other Gwens that might also have a influence factor for me was the 'Geek Girl' version of Gwen Stacy (before the makeover happened) from animated Spectacular series. Lastly the Ultimate 1610 Gwen series influence.
Thus I might go for a composite type of Gwen. A Gwen that wears black or purple narrow glasses for reading or inspecting things (however when not reading stuff Gwen wears them over her hair in a way that makes it look like the signature headband we seen many versions have), dressing like a goth and fully covered yet being one of the sweetest people and having the awkward personality like her spectacular and Spidey series. However when she sees something wrong happening she heads into the fray much like how each 'Gwen' was introduced in the 'Spidery' Series (Punching Flash for picking one Peter), 1610 (pulling a knife out towards Peter's bullies) and even Spider-Gwen Earth-65 shown standing up to bullies. However while she's quick to protect others she lacks the same spirit to speak up about herself. New to New York City Gwen wants to make a connection but is awkward and people first she the Geek/Goth hybrid and immediately assume falsely about her.
For MJ I would go for the party girl persona but swap that a bit. If fashion wise Gwen has a Goth/Geek Girl look and is in coats and fully covered up I would want the two to play off of each other both in characterizations and looks. I wouldn't want them to be copies thus if Gwen is going to be my awkward geek/goth girl MJ I would have as a sort of hippie style fashion and personality.

Second VERY LITTLE 'PETER' time. As Quote in Spider-Gwen #30 "No. No Peter. No offense. I'm sure he's sweet. But--when Peter Parker shows up, things tend to become all about him."
For a series called in some form 'Gwen and MJ' if Peter shows up it then it will becomes all about him in not by story then by readers expectations. I would want this to be about everything and anything but 'Peter and BOYS' related. Gwen and MJ are the primary protagonists and Peter would be part of the side cast EQUAL to the rest of the side cast (which also would have to be written strong as no good series or protagonist can do without a developing and strong side cast to play off and so much more).

As for what type of series for this world being made that follows this 'Gwen' and 'MJ' first coming together then having some sort of adventure. Not 100% sure right now. Though I'm leaning towards something a bit unexpected a bit due to a recent movie called 'Nice Guys". After I saw that film (and enjoyed it) I afterwards dreamed about it but with a 'Gwen and MJ' swapped in the lead roles from the movie.

Something unexpected such as a 'neo-noir action comedy' with some slapstick for both gals (Gwen mostly poking with black humor fun at the various deaths many versions of Gwen Stacy has suffered or fans expectations I read many times any time a 'Gwen' made an appearance with the expectation of death) inspired by the trope "Slapstick knows no gender" and 'Beauty is never tarnished'. At first Gwen thinks Death is out to get her but later after surviving multiple times she thinks she's invincible like Ryan's character assumes.

Basically playing with and being a buddy comedy with 'Gwen and MJ' and playing against expectations all the time. Plus many time we see various 'Peter's' thinking and many times having bad luck or thinking how he messes up and such and nobody else has the same bad luck. For every time 'Peter' is shown and thinks this meanwhile Gwen and MJ are somewhere else doing their own messes ups and having equal bad luck (and Peter never knowing this). Also everytime another character is assuming something/present time perspective about Gwen and MJ things are never correct. We see twisted perspective many times in the series such as 'the boys' seeing them shopping together many times for new outfits (like many times 1960's and such time periods comics did for female love interest triangle characters) and think the same thoughts they shown during the 1960's however we see that they have to because there stuff and outfits are constantly getting damaged due to their adventures (with Gwen wondering how can even some superheroes can afford the maintenance costs of new fabric and having the time to learn tailoring skills after every battle).

Anyway those were a few things that irked me and I want to alter or avoid.  Plus along the way write quickly another idea down inspired however this time by other factors.  Still have about 5 or so more ideas in my head for Gwen and MJ

Man, you really got quite a load of ideas in your head regarding Gwens other versions.

I couldnt really talk in-depth about Ultimate Spider-Man's characters 'cause I've only heard summaries of certain arcs or events. I'm personally just not a big fan of a "kid Spider-Man".

The Gwen and Ben thing sounds interesting but also a little weird to me as he's just kinda like a second Peter yet still has these differences ofc.

Overall pretty cool ideas man

I might be overwhelmed, but nontheless pretty interesting

"The Gwen and Ben thing sounds interesting but also a little weird to me as he's just kinda like a second Peter yet still has these differences ofc."

Since it's weird maybe after all the good things happened for Gwen, MJ, Peter, and Ben tragedy and evil always rears it head out.
After the Clone Saga and Ben was accepted as Peter's brother (after Peter stop treating Ben so shamefully which I would avoid or have him called out on) and MJ first got pregnant.  On 616 MJ baby died and so did Ben at the same time.
Writing that in this world mimicking a bit of 616 Gwen and Ben started a relationship things were look great for all four friends/family.  MJ was pregnant and Gwen couldn't be more excited and when asked to be the baby's godmother Gwen jumped for joy (and seeing how positive that made her feel plus super Ghost Spider strength she jumped pretty high up).
Then a few day later a horrible feeling came over her.  It was her 'Yokai senses' acting up to the point Gwen thought she was going into a coma.  Somebody had great ill intent and Gwen sensed she wasn't the target but somebody close to her.  "Someone I cannot save!  Someone CLOSE to me is about to DIE!  My Yokai Sense is never wrong!  But who?  WHO?"  (Words taken and in tribute to the cover of Amazing Spider-man #121 which was the issue that Gwen Stacy of Earth-616 died in vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/ma… ).

Stopping her panic Gwen focused to discover who was in danger.  Gwen to her horror pinpoint that her senses was leading her to two people.  MJ and Ben!  Both were in danger from a unknown and the two were on opposite sides of the City.  Gwen might only be able to get to one in time and she had to pick fast!
Gwen rushed off towards MJ.  Ben might be in danger but Peter was swinging by his side as they partnered and patrolled together plus ben had Spider powers and hero experience.  Odds were good that Ben with Peter as backup could hold off whatever dangers till Gwen made sure MJ was safe.

Gwen arrived at the cafe MJ was eating at.  MJ was happy to see Gwen though a bit shocked that Gwen wasn't doing her own daily patrols she normally did at the time.  MJ asked Gwen to see and eat beside her and talk about whatever the latest gossip was.  Gwen would be happy to do just that but Gwen not wanting Mj to worry pretended to be paying attention to Mj but really was looking for any possible dangers, hidden demons, or anything that might hurt MJ all while Gwen's senses was getting worse.  Taking a few sips out of her soup that was recommended by MJ Gwen stated how the soup could kill based on it's cholesterol count.  Then some robbers came in and Gwen acted quickly.  Changing into her Ghost Spider form when nobody was looking Gwen immediately took down and webbed up the robbers in seconds.  Surely they were the danger that her senses was warning her about.
Then MJ clutched herself and so did Gwen.  Gwen stomach felt like it was on fire.  Fortuity for Gwen since she was bonded to the Yokai her healing power kicked in and Gwen was fine in second.  Seeing MJ yelling on the floor Gwen alert went by her side.  The hospital was called but with rush hour and Gwen in her panic didn't think that the ambulance would be fast enough and took MJ herself to the hospital.  In both of her her arms and having her steady Gwen would not be able to swing.  However Gwen could still run and jump faster then even a car to go on the busy New York streets as Ghost Spider.

In the hospital Gwen paced in a worried state for MJ.  Thinking what had happen Gwen recalled the pains in her own stomach and understood both her and MJ had the same soup.  They were poisoned!  This wasn't a case of bad food also but something deadly put into the soup instead to hurt and kill them.  Gwen focusing on possible hidden demons or robbers missed the hidden danger.  The waitress was some sort of assassin.  Gwen would not forget her face and once Gwen found her she will discover why she did what she did and burn her alive!
Then the doctor came over to Gwen.  MJ was safe and Gwen felt relieved...then the doctor told her the most horrifying of news.  MJ's baby wasn't and the poison caused a stillborn for MJ.  Gwen felt her knees buckle and time stop.
MJ was still recovering but would be able to have visitors soon.  Gwen saw Peter (with Ben by his side) walking in with tears in his eyes.  Gwen knew that the doctor told Peter before she could.
Gwen: "Peter...I'm so sorry."  Peter: "There was nothing you could of done Gwen." Gwen: (I think I could of done better actually)
Doctor: "My Parker.  You may now see your wife."
Before Peter went off to see the grieving MJ Peter with tears in his eyes looked at Gwen.  Peter: "Gwen...There is something I must tell you...it's about Ben...o god..he...he..took a hit for me...and...I'm so sorry Gwen."

As Peter left to see MJ Gwen was confused as Ben who was also in sorrow for MJ and the lost child that was to be his goddaughter was right there before her eyes.  She knew the truth but was in denial.
Gwen: "Ben.  What is he talking about?  Were you hurt?  Your fine as you are here and..."
Ben: "You know why Gwen you can see me yet what my brother just told you.  Your smart and very good at piercing puzzles together.  You can see spirits with unfinished business among other things.
Gwen: "...nooo..."
Ben: "It was short but it was a good life.  My only regret I had when dying was not being able to see you agian to say goodbye.  That was my only unfinished business".
Gwen: Then DON'T!  You don't have...
Ben: I'm sorry Gwen..
Gwen: NO!  BEN!
Ben: "Goodbye Gwen."
With that spoken Ben in a flash of light moved onwards to the life after life leaving Gwen alone in the waiting room.  Both Gwen and MJ screamed and cried in agony that night.

Peter and Gwen wanted vengeance began a investigation and latching to any clues found Gwen and Peter discovered who was the mastermind that sent that woman to poison while also dispatching a sneak attack against Peter with Ben leaping to take a hit for him fatally wounding him and dying in Peter's arms.  The mastermind was very well known to Peter and Gwen.  Somebody whom both thought was dead for some time.  A name that made their blood boil.
Norman Osborn

For another idea this first started when I started seeing many 'Gwenom' pictures (before Earth-65 'Gwenom' story arc and design happened people were giving symbioties to many of Peter's female love interests and various Gwens were no exception.  Partially after reading some of the current Venom series run, the Swamp Thing twist (found on this list and placed at # 1 www.cbr.com/everything-you-kne… "Who…or What is the Swamp Thing?" ) , grealty after seeing these fan made pictures:
, and
and lastly hearing the fan nickname 'Gwenom' inspired another idea in me plus once more make a new Gwen Stacy version but with a massive twist and the one that keep playing over in my head to the point I went forth to make concept designs for my versions of Gwen and MJ and it's the one I have the most towards do to how wild yet fun and twisted it is.  Something majority different from all other Multiverses I've found thus far even stuff my in fanfiction and fan comics made yet i fel works and still honors the Spiderman lore of the Multiverse while having the ability to be creative and new.  Plus having the two major love interests of Peter having a huge role with Gwen and MJ being the main protagonists (Gwen is telling the tale in her new diary recording past events to get a handle on everything that has happened in her life and friends so it's taken mostly as from her perspective most of the time and a bits she had undercovered or gained intel on).  That together they are individuals but also partners and stronger when bonded.  Together they are Spider-Woman.
The tale/idea and some pictures made or collected for the idea has been quickly posted on my sta.sh and I posted the linked below this which would be just to big to further post on a already huge thread
