For San Diego Comic Con this past summer I had created a unique personal sketch card set reflecting the 11 vintage Captain America trading cards that Agent Coulson had in The Avengers.Much of the art from the cards that appeared in the set in the movie came from the brilliant concept art done by Ryan Meinerding.
Needless to say, trying to recreate Ryan's spectacular paintings at trading card size was daunting. This card was one of my favorites.
Original on personal card stock, 2.5" x 3.5"; Copic markers and Copic opaque white for highlights.

Thanks, Doc! Ryan Meinerding's concept art for the movie really played up the feel of the era, and I thought the movie did an equally fantastic job of portraying it as well.
