Description Little Mac from MIKE TYSON'S PUNCH OUT...
Little Mac is a kid with the dream of becoming the world's strongest boxer, and eventually fighting the pre-ear biting era Mike Tyson.
Well with Fighting Game week coming to a close, I decided to simply draw one of the originals in the genre. Though we've not heard from this guy in quite sometime it would seem that his blonde self is making a comeback in a new game that's coming up. This is all well and good except that the blonde Little Mac is not the one I harken back to in my memories... so I thought it was appropriate to bring back the original, black haired Mac tonight.

I haven't seen the more developed version of this game... wasn't there one? Or maybe it was a picture on the box...

I suppose the magic of 16 bit now days (or was it 8?) is that you can draw any details you want, and no one says "that's not right!" *lol*

But I remember playing Punch Out, and everytime I did I got around to the third fighter and got punched out... just as the title (and Rocky... 3?) suggests.

Oh well, it was a neat time in arcade history.

Yeah there was a better version of Punch Out called Super Punch Out on Super Nintendo. And yeah, I also found Punch Out to be pretty hard, and I have yet to find anyone who tells me otherwise...

Oh yeah man! Punch out is awesome old school fighting action! I should've drawn Karate Champ as well... too bad I was too tired last night.
