Description I never expected to get snow in April. Winter is already over and it's supposed to be Spring season now. Or maybe Mother Nature needed snow so that it can melt into water for the land to grow and blossom out. Snow on the ground always melt into water and goes underground for the grass to grow. Perhaps that's what Mother Nature needed. But I don't know about the animals that are in hibernation. They wake up from their hibernation every 3 months, I think.
The snow is probably 6 inches I think. But eventually it will melt slowly around noon.

Oh my, I didn’t know you’re right that Spring season must be now and snow was still melting slowly. And I thought the Winter season should be December, January, and February in three months.

So, it looks how odd did the weather might been happened in exactly season including each exactly months.

For example:

Spring Β

March, April, and MayΒ

Β SummerΒ  Β

June, July, and AugustΒ

Β Autumn (Fall)Β  Β

September, October, and NovemberΒ

Β WinterΒ  Β

December, January, and FebruaryΒ

No matter I was imagining my own thought about twelve months with four seasons divided in three months each groups. ^^

True, Winter is quite beautiful but also cold too. No offense.
But we need Spring season too.

No offense taken, we do need spring...I mean I haven't been able to ride my horse Nova all winter since she's been repeatedly getting sick from the cold

GothNebula In reply to Dream-Artist1784 [2018-04-02 14:29:24 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, too much snow can make the wild animals hungry for grass. Herbivore animals I mean. And I would hate to see them die of starvation.
Even domesticated animals too. Like your horse Nova too. Horses sometimes love playing in the snow too but they like the open field of grass and flowers. I sure hope you take good care of Nova because she needs your love and support.

Yeah and mustangs need time to run in open space but the first snow storm broke our fences so it's been hard to control the horses....and Nova, she's a wild spirit so she needs her time outside but I was scared she could get hurt so I kept her in her stall alot. I should've been aware that a mucky stall and cold air cause flues and viruses, maybe once she's better I can show you a picture of her if you want ^^

Yikes. Well, some horses have a hard time trusting humans. Because horses don't like to be told what to do. Sometimes to me we should give horses their own free time. And by the time we give them more free time they will start to trust us humans.
Because animals don't like to be locked up. Which makes them think that humans are not trustful. No offense. Some animals try to act like humans be we don't know what they're thinking.

Agreed I mean Nova trusts me because I saved her from turning into an abused race horse, I was in Texas on a trail ride on my horse Diablo. I saw these men chasing a horse, sure I wanted to get help but there wasn't time so I rode after them. Diablo is only aΒ thoroughbred but he's fast so I managed to pass the men grabbing the horse's reins and hid it behind a group of trees. I then got off Diablo and on purposely made myself look like I was kicked off so the men will ignore me and leave. Once they left I grabbed the mustang and got her to my uncle's ranch to recover and heal. She was...about 2 years old then and I was 12, we immediately connected. Since then we've had each other, she's a wonderful horse. Heck I've fallen asleep in her stall and she curled her body around me to keep me warm till morning.

I see. That must be a tough life for Nova. But I'm glad you saved her life. Animals that get rescued by humans makes them become bonded.

From her withered state, she must have been a foal to a forceful bred horse farm...she had no owner explained by my Uncle. Even now, Nova is very terrified of men and humans...only I and my uncle can be near her including Diablo.Β

me too. Both online and real life talk always gets me calmed too. It also helps get rid of stress.
Hyperventilating is hard to control but without thinking about it really helps. And no problem

I have very bad anxiety so it doesn't help when trying to help a sick horse, but now since I'm calm I can focus...I should get going. I need to get more oats for Nova

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

GothNebula In reply to Dream-Artist1784 [2018-04-02 16:22:43 +0000 UTC]

so do I. I've been having this anxiety for months because of someone that made a rant video of me last year one day before my birthday. It was very harsh and offensive it nearly destroyed my sanity. And I'm still trying hard to fight my anxiety before it destroys my sanity for good.
I know how hard it is for you to have this anxiety but your horse Nova can help you with that. Because being alone only makes your anxiety a lot worse. Don't let that happen to you. Friends and family is very important to keep that anxiety away from you.
