New techniques lately, acrylic pieces. I like how this one turned out, the red was a complete accident. The paint brush was rest on the top and splotted the paper, so I went with it. It was really kind of nice. I have a new acrylic (and charcol if things work well) piece I'll be putting up with finished! This one took about ...two hours including sketch.Enjoy.

What catches my eye is the background... How did you do that? It's amazing... The colors really go together well... But yea... how did you do the background???

When I was painting the..skin I believe, I had a brush that I had dipped in red to do the eyes, and it was resting on the paper...so it gave me the idea by accident. I used a round brush and pressed it down on the paper and twirled. It did get over the orginal painting of the person, so I had to paint over parts of the skin and black again.
