Description It's only appropriate that my last artwork of 2010 is a tribute to some of the big winners this past year.

Canada hosted the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver. Not only did Canada win its first gold medal in a Winter Olympics the country hosted, but it also won more gold medals than any other country that participated. The USA won the most medals overall. (Don't worry, *CrzyJewishOtaku , we can pretend the Russians won the gold for men's hockey.)

Norway hosted the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo. Germany won its first victory in over 20 years and was the first of the Big Four to win since the introduction of the Big Four. Alexander Rybak, the winner in 2009, handed the trophy over to Lena, who won for Germany this year with the song "Satellite." (I would have drawn something for Junior Eurovision, but there's no Armenia character. I didn't want to draw the host, who happened to be Belarus, without the winning country. My congrats still goes out to Armenia though, especially because it had never won any Eurovision contest before!)

South Africa hosted the 2010 FIFA World Cup. I so would have drawn South Africa if there was a South Africa character, especially because this was the first World Cup to be hosted by an African nation. :/ Anyway, Spain won the tournament for the first time, beating the Netherlands 1-0. (Sorry to Spain, but that symbol on your flag is really hard to draw. I kinda gave up after trying to get all the details right. But, hey, I probably didn't even draw my own country's flag right.) /fail

Of course, there were plenty of other international competitions throughout 2010, but these were the ones that stuck out in my mind the most.

Happy 2011!

I know the symbol of Spain is difficult, I'm Spanish and in my school work I prefer to not draw xD
Good work

That was nice!

And I'm afraid to say this but, Germany won it's second title in Eurovision in 29 years (that is why 2011 is here BTW).

Wasn't this Germany's third victory? I think so...Well, no matter what, I'm looking forward to it hosting the contest in 2011!

No, he WON his second title since 1982.
And he hope he defends his title, with Italy's epic return to the competition including Austria and Hungary.

I wouldn't be so mad about Canada winning if Public Enemy #1 didn't score the GWG. D: Oh well, we'll get 'em in the World Juniors again!

We can still pretend the Russians beat them though. 8D

I miss that feature on YouTube where you could make the vuvuzela noise come on in the background.
