I love the expression on her face and the blue color, but I think my favorite element of this piece is the freckles...they are well defined and cute...really bring out your character...great job

That is just terrific. Her eyes are a bit "off," though, as in her left eye is looking more upwards than the right. But I love the expression and the fantastic attention to detail. The hair and the eyes and even the little ring on her finger. Her skin has wonderful dimension to it, too. I mean, it looks so real! And the freckles are an excellent touch.

Wow I really thought this is the finished version, but I think your're right the backround seems a bit blank. You did a fine job with her emotional expression. She really seems to be surprised or just feared about something. The colours are just beautiful and work very well together. Especially her blue eyes are just amazing. I like the way the seem to glow and their glassy structure that's very plastical. Skin surfaces and hairs are also done with attention to detail, but her fingers look a bit mad. They seem a bit thin and too long, but maybe that's your style of brushing them. So except this little point a very succeeded piece.
