honestly waterdogs are such crap... they are the most unoriginal things ever. You make what you want and don't let these people get on you're case about it. The only thing the "copyright" protects are the designs that the creator makes not the water + dog concept.

I don't think they are unoriginal its just that so many people use them that now they are pretty boring and ordinary like a dog or a cat but I appreciate you saying that

The adopt design is fine, but because 'Waterdogs' are a closed species you can't call it that. Plus some of the traits on this babe are different! <:
As long as you call it something other than a 'Waterdog' it should be 100% OK!

Waterdogs are a closed species by alfeddy, meaning you cannot make one.
Not make one as in not adopts, not for a character, rps, or anything.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure all of that is true.

I think, make a dog with water parts is not a big, incredible, unseen idea. Nobody can make her/his own this idea because it's very simple. And i see Fangrust doing a good job with animating. Hope she can't delete it
