This is one of the games I've been working on since I left.[ ARROWS: Move | Z: Fire | X: Bomb | ENTER: Pause ]
"Raiden" is a japanese word which means "Fighting Thunder." This is a remake of Raiden IIS - the other shoot-em-up game I've got hosted here. Levels are re-designed, soundtracks remixed, new weapons introduced... and MoRE! Facts regarding this game found at [link] . Enjoy!

D: The only thing that makes this game hard is that it is WAAAY FASTER than real Raiden games (i.e. Raiden 1, 2, 3, and possibly 4, but I haven't played 4 :<
I've beaten this game all the way through on hard before, though. I prefer Lasers + Homing or Vulcan + Nukes, but I simply die if I ever end up with plasma because it fails (but it was kinda meant to, I think)

Well, I've gotten farther.... never ind about the movement, it works fine! I had to get back into the danmaku mindset a little to make this work, lol.

Although I admit, the movement controls are slightly wonky. That, or the ship moves a slight bit too fast.

Awesome game! I love the Raiden series. I have Raiden III, but it's not as good as Raiden II, and this game is as close as I can get to Raiden II! Thanks for doing the world so much good! (srsly)

Sir, you are A GENUIS! You remade one of the best SHMUP games ever published, which is Raiden I and II (All I'm playing is Raiden II, but not I), and the the bottom line would be that the game is slow and why use a sprite of the ship Raiden MkII when most of the stuff is drawn out, but again this game was an old project of yours so I'm going easy on you anywho.

I could play this endlessly. First play through netted 5mil pts, but I could keep on going and going and going...
I found the best combo was blue laser + homing. Unstoppable! A most excellent flash Raiden tribute. Now I just need to find a flash Raiden Fighters...

Another fun combo to try is maxed out Blue, and maxed out straight-fire missles. It's not very practical for going through the levels, unless you're very good at dodging, but you can literally tear bosses apart in seconds if you can pull it off. XD
