Description there was a very distinct difference between how the people in china behaved with children and our way. very close to them, protecting them all the time.. as my mother let my sisters and brother (who was 1 1/2 at the time) wander about.. two ways of raising children. when we were in a place with my sisters and bro, all the locals were like, running when my brother or galillee was falling... and we were like, come on get up ! and the people there were amazed, because theotime was getting up without crying, claping his hands to remove the dust and continuing his walk.
some people there were so nice

some other were jerks though. like everywhere i guess

This is so true. The parents protect their children a lot because they are the only children...
Very nice concept. You should enter this in a contest or something!

This is a nice picture, and I don't lavish praise lightly. The colors are good and the light has a mood of it's own. There's a trace of symmetry here but it's interesting enough that the image's strength is not the symmetry alone, like many deviations on dA.

Nicely done.

except for the good composition, the wonderful reflections and the lovely colours to me this also gives a poltical statement. If you just forget about the fact that it's your mother, the fact that the white person sits elevated and looks down on the chinese person can show who is superior. (talking about poverty). Great photo

it's a very natural photo and conveys how the children are the centre of their world (which I think is different from what happens in the westernised part of the world)

this is great work

this is a nice picture tho. nice story behind it too. i like the fabric and the contrast it creates, yet the blue from the mother's shirt ties it all together. very well done.
