Description I've been going to a couple yoga classes recently, for a variety of reasons. The first of which being that I just wanted to become more active. I live a very inactive lifestyle, working at computers all day and night, and the idea of working intense exercises with only what you have built in your body was very intriguing. I soon learned that it also welcomes concentration and confidence in yourself and discourages judgement. All in all, it's very enjoyable, and the larger ratio of women in the class is certainly easy on the eyes

So anyway! The idea came up that it might be neat having some of these bird characters do similar poses. So here's my girl Seana in a rendition of the half-moon pose. I have only been in two classes so far, and this is one of the more interesting poses we got into already. It's very neat because you start with some foundational stances and then shift and shift two or three steps ahead into this. Needless to say, I could not pull it off, especially when you have to hold these for well up to a minute, breathing regularly. But when it comes to birds and their lighter frames, balancing in general would probably not be as much of an issue.

Also, Seana's colouration changes every single time I draw her x) Bleh. This started out as a lineless picture, but it wasn't really working so I had to throw them back in. It is very difficult to get that nice turquoise colour on her using my pencil crayons =o She always turns out a bit more green this way. Ah well, more birds in funky poses are planned soon.

Oh man, some of the poses are not tough to get into, but holding them for thirty seconds to a minute can really get you shaking to keep it up x)

Except that almost all the poses require some use of your limbs. For a snake, it would just be awkward the whole time x) Definitely no complaining about the heat though!

You started yoga? That's awesome and it's great to hear that you're enjoying it. I've started as well, and I'm really happy about it.
This is a nice project, I'm looking forward to seeing more poses

It does feel very good, especially since I'm not usually too active. It's tough, yeah, but man is it relaxing too x) There is a hot class where the room is at something like 38 degrees, and to do these exercises and poses in such a sweltering temperature is very interesting.

Yeah, after however long I've been talking about starting You've started too before now, haven't you?

I'd tried half a year last year, but I've started again with my mum. It's really great. All exercises are slow, so you get the time to focus on them and doing them correct. And I think I'll start trying to do some of the easier exercises at home, too

That is awesome And it seems to easy to be able to do it anywhere you want One plus - you don't need any other equipment at all!

Well, I use a block for certain exercises, but other than that, and a mat, nothing is really needed indeed
