Description
A long long looong overdue picture for of a character for him. A while ago, he requested that he be placed in a German swordfighting stance calledΒ 'Vom Tag', a stance which appears to be very threatening yet easily transitions into a multitude of other stances.Part of why this took so long was because I kept putting larger ideas together, including him as a character, but they never saw the light of day... and given I have no real knowledge of swordfighting, I hope this comes across alright x) Give him a hand for being able to maneuver a sword with those wings

An interesting note is that the "vom Tag" or "vom Dach" guard is referred to by the Italians as "posta de falcone," or guard of the hawk--for obvious reasons, since you can attack from up high!
Anyway, it certainly looks like a good piece of work, as per usual!

Yeah, swordfighting is one of my interests. I'd call it a hobby, but it's not something I actually get to do very often because people don't typically want me to beat the pulp out of them with a wooden sword. XD

I would say there might be more enjoyable things... like getting beaten up with a foam sword x) I think it'd be fun, but I would lose multiple limbs before meeting my untimely demise at the hand of a skilled sword-fighter such as yourself

This...this is better than I could have imagined! Everything is absolutely perfect! The fingerwings, the footwork, the sword, my character himself, it was veryΒ much worth the wait. And if you still feel guilty, let me remind you that i'm a Nintendo fanboy; we're used to waiting X3
After all, Shigeru Miyamoto (the man behind Mario, Zelda, Pikmin, Metroid...basically about everything Nintendo other than Pokemon) once said: "A rushed game will be forever bad [see Sonic 06 X3 ], but a delayed game will eventually be good." In this case, the long wait was worth the absolutely wonderful pic I got in the end ^V^
