Monterey Bay Aquarium is great, I was there last week and I take similar pictures
It's hard to take a pictures of Jelly fish

Oh, welcome to California!!! I hope you're having a great time! Yes, the Aquarium is awesome. We live about an hour away and visit it every so often. Where else are you visiting while you're here?

Yeah it was really great
It was a two weeks trip by car from Los Angeles to San Francisco and I go also to Santa Barbara, Monterey, Cambria, Carmel Valley, the Sillicon valley (Cupertino, Mountain View...), Sonoma, Napa... And also Las Vegas NV who is so crazy and the Grand Canyon West AR ...

something a bit different from you, great shot, I like the contrasting colors, it makes it more intense.

Yep - very different! They painted the background of this tank blue for just that reason - it really shows off the jelly fish. They are an amazing experience. Thank you for the comments and compliments, ~gogirlanime !!!

Very cool. It looks kinda like they're upside down, but it's obvious it's meant to be this way.

I was surprised to see them floating that way too! I thought jelly fish floated head up... Not these guys... Thank you for the compliment!

Actually, these guys floated only that way, whether going up or down. They were very slow too. That's why they are so clear. Fish are impossible to photograph because they move to quickly but these guys were really slow. Hmmm... Wonder if they were posing for me...

Cool. Reminds me of a school trip we had to Denmark.
We went rowing a longboat and there were thausands of jellyfish in the water

I learned the hard way, by missing an awesome moon rise over Lake Tahoe, to ALWAYS carry my camera with me! I've never missed a shot since!
