Description
Often the world around us feels dark and alone, and our hearts cry out for peace, love, stillness, joy. Yet we forget that we are always surrounded by light and warmth and it is already ours. We just have to reach out for it.Watercolor, Colored Pencils, and Acrylic paint on 9" X 12" Bristol. 2010.

Your art never ceases to inspire me! I absolutely love looking over your pieces and having them remind me how down to earth everything really is and that we make everything seem so hyped up and serious, that we don't stand back to take the reality and pure basics that are really around us. The things we take for granted, we really shouldn't.

Can I ask you something? You said you used watercolour, coloured pencils, and acrylics - is that the order you use them in? As in, how do you colour over the waterpaints, do you have a special paper or is it a learned skill?

Absolutely stunning - her emotion and facial expression are stunning, and the subtle, almost washed-out colours work perfectly to create a spiritual theme of emptiness

it's a style of art called anthropomorphic, where it has the general body of a human but it is an animal. It's meant to be beautiful not creepy.

It always pleases me to get new, full pieces from you. 
Anyways, I love the composition of this. The way it's really light behind the head really brings the attention to the wolfy, and I love the detail in the fur, as usual.
