As some of you noticed, I recently changed my icon πΊ And here is the full artwork of GoldenDruid.Β Yay!
Its something I've been wanting to do for a while and at this point long overdue.Β
Eventually I hope to update her ref sheet as well to reflect some of the subtle changes.Β But for now I'm going to be using this art as my new avatar online and for my business
Today I'm Grateful for:
Having time to work on personal art
The evolution of self
Living vicariously through a character

6 hours total.
In 2016 I started journaling daily. Part of that writing process has been to write 3 things I am grateful for each morning.
I've been sharing those three things along with my new artwork each Mon-Fri.
This practice has benefited me artistically as well as emotionally.Β My hope is that by sharing this, you guys can feel some of those good vibes during your week too!

I can't believe I haven't seen your work before - you're amazing! The colours, the shading and texturing of the different types of fur (and her hair) are all brilliant.
And the anatomy of her face is just flawless - next time i'm trying to draw a feline, i'll be referencing this.

Wonderful work.Β The amount of detail you manage to get into your speed paints is incredible.Β Out of curiosity what are the finished dimensions of a speed paint commission(or above)?Β I couldn't find it on your website,Β Just wondering if I missed it or if it varies depending on the time commissioned.Β
Β (Well not just wondering.Β Β I need to know if I can manage to talk my wife into letting me commission a half or full torso painting of a character from the story I finally got around to writing as this years Christmas present to me.Β

Β I need to pay better attention to detail.Β I was looking at the time in the description, not the title, and comparing it to the times of the Speedpaint examples on your webpage.Β Still the amount of detail you managed to put into Made of Stars with just 4 hours is incredible.Β
Β It may be a few months before I commit to a commission (minor surgery issues)Β but I'll hopefully have a detailed enough ( loose not restrictive) idea of which character I want and the setting I'd like them in.Β Deserted seashore, park bench.Β Orbit
