I love the idea for this picture, but I really don't like how it turned out. I wasn't going to post it, but one of my friends encouraged me to.This is the first art where I'm asking for art critique, but I ask you to please be kind!
The main problem I have with this is it feels too two-dimensional and I can't figure out how to make it pop. There's something about it that just doesn't scream "amazing" to me. I can't figure out what it is! Any suggestions would be great! I work on CS3.

This is so sad. They could have had a happy childhood like other kids. I like the blank, black background which emphasized the distance between them and the moon. The simple style suits the mood. I don't think I can find anything to criticize.

I think it's amazing. I love the idea of the four of them as kids, and I love the way this is done; the black and white paints the bleak picture, in my opinion. Either way, I adore this!

Thanks so much! It's amazing how much positive feedback I've been getting for something I don't care for myself and when I absolutely love something I did, it gets maybe 10 favorites! Lol! Life's funny in that way... I'm glad you like it, though!

It's such a cool game! The art style is really neat. There is an area where you are on top of a hill/mountain at night, and you have to paint stars in the sky! It's really dark, and all you can see is the hill you're on, and the empty sky! That's what this art makes me think of!
