Hey. I work on 2 layers max. When I start to paint i don't know what its gonna be. Only thing I think of at the beginning is whatever its gonna be environ or character but even then things sometimes change during the process.  There is no goal or overall idea of what I'm about to paint. I do not start whit lines draft layer. Everything is subject to change while in the process.
Soon I'm gonna to relaunch my painting since I've got a huge break. I'm thinking about You Tube speeds,Q and A, Tutorials, More uploads of new paintings, maybe even some Live Streams and more.

thanks for the thorough reply so you will use mostly one layer then a second for testing then flatten that one and continue the process?
