The Lines clashed for what seemed like hours. Bodies littered the fields for miles
60,000 Eucadian strong of the 4th and 5th Legions Vs the numerically superior 90,000 of the Kurvidic-drow Horde's 1st. It was one of their last attempts to gain the upper hand in this war. If they could cripple and route the enemy the Eucadians could secure the Southern Territories, and focus more efforts on the less defended Kurvidic Northern front. They needed to stop this horde and they needed to stop it now before it gains anymore steam. They needed this victory now more than ever, else it would take them months to raise up another force. Months they don't have. The Northern territories were all already pushed on the defensive, the South was the only ones left with any offensive capabilities.

Trebuchets launched explosive pots onto the hordes of the Black armies, Drake riders fought in the skies above, occasionally dropping explosives onto the lines below on either side.
Arrows from both sides flew overhead, pinpoint precision of the elves wielding them, or the intense volleys from the humans. Warmages and clerics blasted foes away, or were on the field trying to aid wounded comrades. Eventually the lines broke and the ordered battle broke out into complete chaos.

Her spear was broken. Her sword lost. Her helmet knocked off her head by a Chimera's club earlier that she was lucky to get away from. She scrambled for a weapon, eventually coming across a spear that was snapped in half. It was perfect for close quarters.

Her Centuria's lines had broken, as the Dark elves, and the men of Kurvacia were storming through. She gutted the first one that crossed her path, romoving the spear and then jamming it through his eyesocket. Another one ran at her, wielding his mace in the air. The Spear went through his neck.

All that mattered right now was surviving. To be able to get home. To see her village. Her daughter. Not one of these corrupted men or elves were going to stop her. Three Drow hoplites had clashed with her line, clad in their heavy armor, their black chainmail shimmering in the sunlight. Her comrades engaged two of them, the last was now focusing his attention on her.

"For Sera...." She muttered...

"For Vylia!" She said louder

"FOR EUCADIA! FOR THE EMPIRE!!!!" She shouted, charging the enemy
