This is a lot like the crosses she'd have in trying to get herself ready for her day as an upper-class young lady (*very* upper-class, she's royalty.), and you've expertly captured some of her daily problems, here it looks as if her brush caught a snarl of her hair and she's a bit hurt by the pulling- sheer brilliance!
I'm not happy that she's being hurt, mind you, that's simply cruel, but rather how you've visually captured some of her daily matters of making herself 'presentable' to the public as a young lady in that society- that's what I'm calling "sheer brilliance"... it'd be sadistic and cruel to take delight in her physical suffering, what you're depicting here is a young woman getting ready for her day, and that's what's so both brilliant and beautiful to behold.
Sincerely pleased to look on this picture, despite the suffering the young lady is undergoing here;

Every morning Anna probably remembers Mama used to put her hair in braids before putting her to bed for a reason. And every night she decides: "...nah." Both sisters' hair must be huge when they undo it.

this makes me happy. i see a lot of pictures with Ana wearing her hair down, but most artist underestimate braid length and how long hair actually is. i think is pretty accurate.
