Evangelion is considered one of the best anime of all time. That's why it is first in my new series of art pieces, "Deus Ex Machina." The term defines the literary device where an unsolvable problem in the story is resolved through something that is unexpected. It is criticized as a terrible device and sadly used in many stories.
Anyways, in my series of pictures, I used the term "Deus Ex Machina" as the exact translation, which means "God from Machine." Many anime and video games have very religious aspects that relate to Mecha. Evangelion is the most known, with it's christian symbolism, and the fact that Eva-01 pretty much becomes the catalyst of God in the end. So hope you like the redesign of this religious mech! Next is Rahxephon.
