HAHA that's the title monkeyjay came up wiith XD and he helped me correct my lights etc.This is an incorrectly drawn Bolin I tested in markers ( plague-of-lokists.tumblr.com/p… ) and tested out doing realistic muscle colouring, it doesn't work with my drawing style but I wanna try some realisticer stuff!

I have methods to thin lines after the fact in photoshop. XD.
Go to the channel menu with only line art layer on. Ctrl(I think, might be cmd) click a channel to get a selection of the lineart. Then in the menu go Select> modify>contract a px or two. Or select>refine selection> contract (and smooth if lines are wiggly). With selction create a new layer and fill (edit>fill). Now you have a line layer with thinner lines.
If lineart is on its own layer you can also option click a layer above it into the lineart (will clip transparency on that layer to the lineart) and draw higlight into lineart in areas of highlight that would be distracting to have a dark line.
