Description Colour pencils on pastel paper.
Pride was the lovely 2-years old cheetah who loved climbing trees and being cuddled to sleep. With a tongue of sandpaper she licked and purred loudly on top of me before falling asleep and peeing on my sleeping bag.
She is now 3 years old and trying to find her way in a wildlife foundation release area.

I think the fur shows how obsessed I was with brushing her fur every day while I was there.
I didn't keep a blog whilst I was there! But there wasn't much internet where I was anyway. This was where I went though, they send out newsletters about the animals now and then:
