Thank you so much!
Well, I still have A LOT to learn. But, lets see... things that have helped or inspired me along the way. Most of my inspiration came from DA, I guess. There are a lot of amazing artists on here. Unfortunately, a lot of people let that discourage them. For some reason it is easy to think of them as always being amazing. But, they all had to work to get there, you know? I am positive that every one of them at one point drew stick figures. Haha!
I think the key is to not get discouraged (which can be hard to avoid) and be persistent. Draw every day. And try to improve something with every picture you draw. And, also we must realize that, even still, we will grow at different rates. Some people have naturally better in-born fine motor skills, or hand-eye coordination. But, just because it doesn't come super natural, doesn't mean you can't learn or teach your body to develop these. Right?
I was told to study features and to not be afraid to use references. Great advice! I find myself, when talking to people, studying their features and how they change as they turn or talk. I try to look natural though, because if they knew they were a subject study they probably would quit talking to me. Haha!
For me, since I am mathematically minded, I had to break down proportions mathematically. So my faces are, for the most part, calculated? Haha!
Anyway, I have a folder in my favorites for tutorials and things. There are so many good helps here on DA! Honestly, I really don't think I would have kept up drawing if it wasn't for all the help I found on here. Other people have given me pointers here, too. All that has been so helpful!
Sorry! You probably weren't looking for a book-length answer! Haha!
Thank you so much for your comment! It means so much to me that you feel that way.

I love how each character has their own facial expression which hints something about their personality. Absolutely stunning!

Oh wow. That's a big change... and they look really cool.
As for your other creature... you need to give it a name.... I may adopt him.

Oooh look at them all! I was going to ask you about the creature but you already mentioned it! I like jesidere lol she looks annoyed at being stuck on there with everyone! I also like the little colour splas piccies too.
Hmmm...I think Ronin's jaw is fine! The beard is quite manly...I haven't seen very many women with one of those XD
